The Short Story

Initial Expectations: I’m not sure why, but something about this one really scares me.

Initial Reaction: The movie isn’t too bad, but the DVD leaves pretty much everything to be desired.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody wanting a stereotypical porno

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting something that feels a little different in any way or who wants a movie with somebody who’s listed on the cover

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The audio varies a bit throughout the feature. Some of it is nicely balanced, but quite a bit of it seems a little on the hollow side. The video is pretty good. There isn’t much grain, but much of it is a little on the dark side.

Music: The music is fairly typical porno music, and is normally a bit on the loud side.

False Advertising: Stacy Valentine, Sindee Coxx, Christi Lake, Jon Morgan, Steve Hatcher, Mark Armstrong, and Dave Hardman are all listed on the cover but don’t appear in the movie. That makes a grand total of two people the credits got right. Stacy and Christi were two of the reasons I picked up this DVD, and I normally like Sindee as well. This is beyond inexcusable, and because of it I’m deducting a full point from the overall score.

Menus: The main menu offers a picture of the cover and lets you select one of seven chapters based only on a name for each chapter. It’s completely underwhelming, but this was also a very early DVD for NuTech.

The Feature

Asia Carrera and Tony Tedeschi seem to have the perfect plan. With Asia’s looks and personality, and Tony’s brains, they get Asia into easy jobs where they can rip off the owners. When Asia gets in place for the big score working for Steve Drake things start to change. She finds herself falling for Steve and starts to rethink their master plan, despite Tony threatening her life if she doesn’t come through.

Scene 1 - Asia Carrera and Tony Tedeschi

Asia Carrera starts things out with Tony Tedeschi. He verbally abuses her before she shows him how sorry she is by dropping down and sucking his cock. He throws Asia across the apartment onto their bed and goes directly to fucking her missionary style rather than giving her any kind of warmup. Tony rolls her around to fuck Asia from behind, even giving her ass a little thumb action before popping on her ass.

This is a very different scene for Asia. The scene is very rough for what I’ve seen from Asia, and more than a little masochistic. She does a great job in it, playing the beat down and abused woman, while Tony comes off as a completely believable prick. There’s a bit of the dark feel to the sex, but Asia still manages to make it enjoyable.

Scene 2 - Anna Malle and Mitchell Gant

Anna Malle takes on Mitchell Gant in the second scene. Anna sucks Mitchell’s manhood before letting him tongue her twat. They fuck missionary and doggie style before Mitchell spears Anna’s ass and gives her a nice facial.

This is a nice scene. Anna and Mitchell have some nice chemistry as well as nice energy. The biggest problem here is that there isn’t much to separate this scene from the previous scene other than a little anal that’s only shown in close-up and the attitude of the scene. Other than that, the scene had me fearing that the entire movie would only use two positions.

Scene 3 - Jill Kelly and Ashley Renee

Jill Kelly and Ashley Renee pair up in the third scene. They start out complaining to each other about not having enough money and trinkets before getting it on with each other. Jill eats Ashley before they sixty nine and break out the toys. Jill fucks Ashley first before standing up and letting Renee work on her from behind. They finally finish things with a quick kiss.

This scene didn’t do much for me. Ashley and Jill seem to have okay chemistry and put in some nice energy, but the camera angles left more than a little to be desired. Once the toys come out you barely see the toys and the girl’s reaction in the same view, which I always want to see. Not having those angles made me think that whoever was behind the camera wasn’t quite sure what they were doing.

Scene 4 - Asia Carrera and Steve Drake

Asia takes on Steve Drake in the fourth scene. They happily exchange oral favors, with Asia looking like she loves receiving just as much as she looks like she loves to give head. She lets Steve spoon her and fuck her missionary style before popping on her stomach.

This is another okay scene. As usual, Asia is excellent. She puts some great energy and enthusiasm into the scene, and seems like a nice match for Steve. The main problem here is that the lighting is horrible. There are constant shadows, and at times they’re so bad that about all you can see clearly is a bit of Asia and Steve’s mid-section. It’s really too bad because the scene struggles to make it to average and it should have easily passed average.

Scene 5 - Jill Kelly and Steve Drake

Jill Kelly takes on Steve Drake as soon as he gets home and crawls into bed. Jill gives Steven some nice and soft head with nice eyes before climbing up and riding him cowgirl style. Jill also takes it doggie and missionary style before fingering her and popping on Jill’s tits.

This is a pretty good scene. Jill does a great job of leading the scene, and does a great job of starting it out with nice energy until she helps Steve find his own. The only thing that really holds it back is the low lighting which feels cheap rather than artistic.

Scene 6 - Asia Carrera, Anna Malle, and Vince Voyeur

Asia Carrera, Vince Voyeur, and Anna Malle get together for the final scene in Asia’s fantasy about hard corporate negotiations. She has Vince kiss her feet before working his way up her body to earn back his company. After Vince gives Asia a good tonguing she calls in Anna and tells Vince he has to fuck her. Asia sits back and watched for a little bit before helping Anna suck Vince’s cock. She has Anna eat her pussy while getting fucked from behind, and even rides Anna’s face while Vince gives it to her missionary style. Finally, Anna finishes things up with a nice and energetic facial.

This is a great closing scene. Asia does a great job of controlling the scene, and does so with the fun spirit that a fantasy should have. Anna, Asia, and Vince have great chemistry, and there’s good energy as well. This is easily one of the best scenes in the entire movie.

Corporate Affairs is a surprisingly good couples feature that should have been much better. The plot is nicely done and it isn’t afraid to go into a few darker areas. The sex also journeys to the darker side of things a couple times, but mostly holds things back by keeping it overly tame. There are very few positions in the feature, and the scenes are a bit on the short side. The last two scenes are easily the best in the feature, although Asia’s standard perkiness are on display throughout almost all of her scenes. The biggest problem, however, is the lighting, which makes much of the movie hard to see and held back virtually every sequence. Corporate Affairs is a great start on a great couples movie, but doesn’t quite make it all the way there.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many NuTech DVDs can be found online for between $8 and $22 with several stores currently offering it for under $10. Although it’s not a bad movie, it isn’t worth anything above the lower end. The movie is nicely done, but there aren’t any extras and the technical aspects leave a bit to be desired.

Note to NuTech: I realize this was one of your very early DVDs, but the mistakes on your cover are still inexcusable.
