Clerks XXX: A Porn Parody Review

Finally Allie moves in to kiss hot busty bottle blonde Lexi in the store. Clerks XXX is a worthy parody of Kevin Smith's classic indie film. Obviously things are changed to fit the porn world, such as Allie (as Dana instead of Dante) is working in a smut shop instead of a convenience store and Jay and Silent Bob are now Jane and Silent Bertha. The casting is a large part of what makes Clerks XXX work. Allie is perfect as the girl next door, and Lexi is just as good as the foul mouthed Randi (instead of Randall). Chastity channels Jason Mewes perfectly as Jane, and Kelly Divine is just as solid as Silent Bertha. There's also plenty of great moments brought in and tweaked from the movie, such as the anti-cigarette crusade becoming an anti-condom crusader, anal lube salsa sharks, and even a Star Wars reference or two. Of course there's plenty of sex talk as well, and even a Navy SEALS reference. The script shows a great deal of love for the original Clerks, and the cast really brings it to life well. The movie also works very well sexually, with the scenes working into the framework of the movie very well. There's nice chemistry in each of the scenes and a solid mix of action that gives you anal sex, threesomes, girl-on-girl, and even a blowjob only scene. If there's any complaints about this parody, they're fairly minor. I'll admit to being a little disappointed that it's in full color rather than black and white, but at the same time fully understand keeping it full color for the marketability of the movie. The bigger complaint for me was how limited Lexi Swallow's Randi character was in the movie. Lexi is awesome every time she takes the screen, but it's pretty limited and never enough to give the great balance between Dante and Randall in the original. It still works here, largely due to Allie's personality and skill as an actress, but definitely left me wanting a bit more. Clerks XXX is a very solid porn parody that's well worth picking up if you're a fan of the original.

The Extras:
Trailers are included for four other Vivid releases. The photo gallery lasts a little over five minutes. There's also behind the scenes featurettes, a B&W version of the movie without the explicit sex, cumshot recaps, and commercials.

The blooper reel lasts about twenty four minutes. This is a great blooper reel. You get plenty of flubbed lines, crack-ups, and the cast and crew screwing around on the set. The largest focus is on Allie Haze, but you get plenty of the rest of the cast as well including lots of fun with Seth Gamble and Lexi Swallow. This is a great addition to the overall release and is well worth checking out.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about six and a half minutes and features the Colonel behind the camera. He moves around the set chatting with the cast and crew with Lexi Swallows definitely standing out thanks to her showing off her big titties. This is a pretty forgettable behind the scenes featurette (with the exception of Lexi's great tits). It jumps around getting quick comments from the set that rarely add much or seem like too much fun. This is a disappointing addition to the overall release.
