Chix In The Mix Review

Okay so, what we have here with Chix in the Mix is basically a harder edged Interracial All Girl. Previously, my experience with the Interracial lesbian genre has extended from the absolutely horrible Lesbian Swirl to Videoteam's absolutely brillant (after #2) Interracial Editions of No Man's Land. And its always interesting to see harder companies' takes on all-girl porn, it can be a train wreck (see (or don't see) Girls on Girls) or it can be pretty damn fun (see Disturbed and Evil Pink).

Chix in the Mix is directed by Jewel De'Nyle who I've only seen direct the 1st two editions of Dirty Girlz both of which were kind of up and down and probably suffered from her presence in some of the scenes because she set the bar so high for the rest of the performers, she's not in this one at all so hopefully, at least its more even.

Okay movie, the first scene is between Sunshine and Sophia. Haven't seen Sunshine before, have seen Sophia and am thoroughly convinced at this point that she's not really into girls. The messed up thing about this one is that its kind of mechanical, Sophia play's it up entirely too much, she even moans more than Sunshine while she eats her pussy, and just generally talks too much. The kissing here is surprisingly good at the beginning of the scene but is basically and expectedly abandoned until the end. Overall, like I said, its too mechanical, the same mistakes that you see in most all-girl movies are present, like the girls suck on the toys too much and moan while doing it. However, there is some good pussy eating and anal (if you're into that). It isn't garbage, but hopefully its the worse of the lot.

Next up is a 3way, and I only recognize Hypnotiq, the other two girls are Kimberly Kane and Mel. Due to the overall outstanding way that this one is setup, all you need to do to find out whose who is to look on the Photo Shoot feature which is brillantly labeled. Kimberly Kane never takes her glasses off during the scene which is cute and just generally a good idea and Hypnotiq is hot. . . Every Black/Interracial movie has Hypnotiq in it! If Hypnotiq or Jada's not in it, then apparently it doesn't qualify for the genre. This scene is way better than the first. Most of all the beginning is basically bumping and grinding and the girls actually seem to enjoy it while it lasts. The toys come out a little too early but, at least on Kimberly's part she seems to really enjoy them (and thats what makes toys acceptable in my book) (do I have a book?). Anyway, theres anal all around and its kind of fun, so is when Mel brings out the strap on for Kimberly. The star of this scene is Kimberly Kane, very good girl girl performer, when she's the center of attention, its good, when she isn't its just okay.

3rd in the house is the most visually pleasing pairing on the entire disk, the gorgeous Mya Mason and Vicki Powell. Watching these two do anything together, but probably the highlight of the scene is that they make as pretty good usage of the dreaded (and historically visually awkward) double headed dildo. Of course there's anal and Mya Mason actually seems to enjoy it (and I enjoy her enjoying it). The problem here is that the 2 reach for about 5 different toys during the action, when they come out they never go away! Toy after toy after toy (one of which looks a lot like the one Kimberly Kane got used on her butt and I hope they washed it off). . . But like I said, they're hot, whatever they do, if you love women, you won't mind much.

Next to last is the boxcover pair. Nina Bonet and Delilah, neither of whom I've ever seen before (Nina is very very very very petite). These two get it on in front of a fire and unfortunately they don't have a chance to really get into each other before they whip out the toys. Maybe it was just me, but Delilah seemed more turned on from Nina working on her orally than when she brought out the first toy, same thing is true for Nina. I (for some strange reason) do like strap ons in certain situations and it kind of works between these two doggy and missionary. What works for me is hearing how wet Delilah is while being fucked throughout the scene and hearing her, she's a very good talker. This scene is pretty damn good, (only pair of completely naked girls, no heels no nothing) could've been a tad bit better though sans 1 or 2 toys.

Lat up is the reason why I bought this movie. Mya Lovely. (2 Mya's in the same movie that may be against the rules) (holdup I'll go check)
(no its okay) I looooooooooove Mya Lovely, excellent dirty talker and she was actually in the last straight movie that I saw. She's paired with the really skinny Corina Taylor. At times she seems a little bit too much for Corina, she's talking from the beginning to the end. Anytime Mya does anything to Corina its hot, Corina isn't as agressive as Mya and its sort of Mya's scene. The highlight is when she takes a toy (which looks like the same one that Kimberly and the other Mya used) and uses it anally on Corina (again, I hope they washed it off). On the BTS you learn its Corina's first anal scene and she takes two different toys anally, they kiss and the movie is over. This is the best scene of the flick, by far.

Overall, this is pretty good movie for what is apparently the first of a series (I don't think that this particular company makes movies without sequels) and it could really be good. Between Lesbian Swirl's really really bad out put and Videoteam's erratic release schedule, it could fill an entire genre pretty quick. There are a few things wrong, mainly if you like to see women kissing, this isn't for you, they only kiss at the beginning and end of each scene. You are allowed to kiss during the scene ladies, we won't think of you any different (and if we do you wont care) and if you don't like toys, you wont like this one either. Its not too hard though, and its not too soft.

The DVD is set up really really well, I might only check one or two of PXP's releases a year but I have to give them a whole heap of credit for the setup. A nice behind the scenes segment, on which Mya Mason lays down to fuck and bumps her head on the floor, (she was okay) and a really sleazy sounding Euro photographer and even bits and pieces of Jewel (anybody else think Jewel sounds a little like the mom from the Bobby's World cartoon?). I 'suggest' (because I don't know exactly how to spell that R word) that you pick this one up if you're a really big fan of one of these girls or if you've been begging for a long time for interracial girl on girl action, it does honestly deliver that.

(Big kudos for using all natural girls (unless Vicky Powell has implants) (and she might) and more Kimberly Kane please)
