Synopsis:
El Capo (Jean Paul) is a small time mob associate who learns that El Oso (Tony De Sergio) will be in the area with an extremely large sum of money. He plans, with the help of his girlfriend Carla (Lorena Sánchez), to hit the big time by ripping off El Oso.

Audio/Video:
Black Worm is presented with an English 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround mix, which sounds great. The dialog is clear and easy to hear and I doubt any viewers will have any problems with the audio presentation. There are no foreign language tracks or subtitle options available for the feature film.

Black Worm is presented in the widescreen aspect ratio of 1.78:1. In an excellent move Pulpo has gone for an anamorphic picture which will please owners of widescreen televisions. The picture looks great with nice color levels and a flawless presentation. There are no blemishes, artifacts, or any other problems of any kind with the video on the disc.

Special Features:
There isn't much for special features included on the disc. There are two photo galleries included on the disc, one for Mikayla with 11 stills and one for Alektra Blue with 22 stills. There are also trailers included on the disc for the feature film, Black Worm, and Delores of My Heart and a mini-teaser trailer for Dirty Queen (which never seems to have recived a release).

Disc Design/Navigation:
The disc is designed with nice impressive looking menus that are easy to navigate. There are 17 chapters available from the chapter menu. Each one is identified with a name for the chapter only. There are 17 chapter stops available within the feature film itself as well and there is a time code encoded on the disc.

General Review:
Black Worm, the debut film for Pulpo, is an enjoyable film that blends a nice mix of story and sex. The film is a crime caper, with twists, that unfolds as you watch the film. The plot for the film appears to have been as important as the sex scenes to the film makers as instead of just throw away “feature” portions, the plot is thought out and well developed and sure to please viewers looking to watch an actual adult film.

What will either make the film for you, or break it depending on what you are looking for, is it's construct. A problem that generally plagues feature adult films is that the sex scenes pull the viewer from the story. This wasn't always the case, but over the years, sex scenes have gotten longer and longer until you've reached the point that the sex scenes, however well they fit in with the plot, pull the viewer from the film. That isn't the case with Black Worm however, the sex scenes are part of the story, not a sideline visited for twenty minutes. The scenes are shorter than the standard scene these days, feature or all-sex, however that allows the scene, and the viewer, to remain in the film instead of being jetted out of it.

The scenes are filmed differently as well. Instead of tons of gyno close-ups and body parts, the scenes are shot so that you see the interaction between the actors and actresses, which boosts the eroticism rating of the scenes through the roof. Between the actors and actresses involved, the way the scenes are shot and the lighting used, the scenes all have a far more natural feel than adult films often offer these days. Some viewers may not like this style though as it makes the sex scenes dark, lighting wise. If you are looking for brightly lit scenes, this film won't do it for you. If, on the other hand, you are looking for some beautiful looking sex scenes with no circus acts, just two people having sex with each other, this is a great film for you to check out. The sexual themes in the film are vaginal sex with blow jobs, pussy eating, pussy fingering, lesbianism, and female masturbation. There are no condoms used during the sex scenes.

The acting in the film is also enjoyable. Pornstars can create characters that the viewer will follow as the character and not as the pornstar and that is demonstrated in this film. Even during the sex scenes, the cast stays in character, making the film all that much more enjoyable. The locations are well picked as well, fitting the film perfectly, instead of trying to make the film fit locations that are easily available. All-in-all these details all add up to a very enjoyable film that any fan of features is going to want to check out.

Black Worm reminds me a lot of the classic adult films. Attention is paid to the story as well as the sex scenes making for a complete film instead of a sex film with filler. The sex scenes are short, like they were back in the golden age, but manage to be completely satisfying in the process. If you are a fan of feature adult films, this is one title that you are going to have to check out.
