Synopsis:
In a departure from his normal plot-based films Thomas Zupko makes his second gonzo film which is a collection of five loosely connected all sex scenes.

Audio/Video:
Big Wet Asses is presented with an English 2.0 Stereo track, which is all that is necessary considering the content of the film. As the film is nothing but a little dialog mixed in with sex, no fancy audio tracks are needed or necessary. The dialog is clear and easy to hear at all times during the film. Elegant Angel hasn't included any foreign language tracks or subtitle options for the feature film.

Big Wet Asses is presented in the full screen aspect ratio of 1.33:1, which appears to be the original aspect ratio for the film. The picture quality of the film is fine with a nice slightly soft picture sporting no artifacts, blemishes or artifacts that I was aware of during the presentation. The color levels are correctly set resulting in a great viewing experience.

Special Features:
Elegant Angel hasn't included many extras on the disc but all except one of them relate to the feature film and they do compliment the film well. There is a 20 minute behind the scenes piece that shows Katja getting ready, the set dressing, Katja's photo shoot and the filming with Zupko directing and it shows Gia Paloma getting ready, her photo shoot and Zupko shooting the scene. There are also two bonus scenes included on the disc. The first one is the bonus ending for the scene with Rhiannon Bray. It picks up where the one in the film ends and Dick Nasty enters the scene, dressed in a white hard hat, thick glasses and a red woman's top and has anal sex with Rhiannon. He cums on her face. The scene lasts for four minutes and sixteen seconds. The other bonus scene is a bonus ending for Katja Kassin's scene. Again, it picks up where the scene in the film ends and Tony T. dressed in a yellow rain coat and yellow hard hat enters the scene. Katja gives him a blow job and he cums on her face. The scene lasts for five minutes and twenty seven seconds. There are also trailers included on the disc for Gonzomania, Succulence, Glazed & Confused, Real Female Orgasms 4, and Sodomania 40: All Star Jam.

Disc Design/Navigation:
The disc is designed with a combination of animated and non-animated menus with background music. The menus are much better looking than many recent Elegant Angel releases. There are six chapters available from the chapter menu. Each one is identified by a video clip from the scene that the chapter goes to. There are only six chapter stops within the feature film itself. There is a time code for the feature film encoded on the disc.

General Review:
Thomas Zupko, one of the kings of weird bizarre porn, returns to gonzo for his second gonzo film, the first being Anal Ball that he made in 1997 for Evil Angel. Unfortunately, Zupko and the cast members are all capable of doing a much better project than this. Zupko's love for the weird doesn't translate well to the gonzo realm. His set is a standard room with a covered leather couch is adorned with a mask and odd figurines about the room, all of which just look out of place. He would have been better off leaving the odd trinkets out of the scene. The use of the same room and the same area of that room gets tiring when it is used for all the scenes. Some variety in the locations used would have helped the film out a lot.

The scenes start out well, with the woman featured in the scene playing heavily to the camera. As they dance and wiggle and play with themselves, the camera eats them all up creating a great atmosphere going into the scene. Most of the pre-scene sex play is anal, so anal lovers will be in pure heaven and there is a massive focus on the posterior, which is nicely displayed at the beginning of the scene. Then Zupko goes back to the odd with Mick Blue, dressed in each scene with a rain coat, hard hat, loves, utility vest and what appears to be an enema bag. The colors of his attire change through the different scenes and the enema bag isn't always present. There are also some thick glasses that he occasionally wears. The costumes come across as odd, but at least they fit the scenes better then the trinkets that are lying around the scene.

The women featured in the film look great. Some viewers may not like the choice Zupko made of only putting one male in the cast. Mick does a good job though and honestly I found the constant use of one location more bothersome than the use of only one male cast member. The scene with Gia Paloma is a film wrecker though. Don't get me wrong, Gia is cute and has great energy, but no one looks good puking out bile in my opinion. If vomit doesn't bother you, this scene won't bother you as much as it did me, but as far as I was concerned, once she was shown with the bile coming out of her mouth, the rest of the scene was ruined for me. I also wasn't able to get the bad taste out of my mouth from that scene for the rest of the film even the stunning scene with Katja Kassin. As is common with Zupko's films, there is a heavy emphasis on the anal sex in the film. The sex is also on the nastier side with more intense scenes, so viewers that like tamer sex or prefer vaginal sex over anal will most likely not find this film to their liking. The sexual themes in the film are vaginal and anal sex with blow jobs, vaginal and anal toy use, anal fingering, pussy fingering, titty fucking, A2M, and female masturbation. For viewers that care about condom use, there are no condoms used in the film.

Zupko can do much better than this. His taste for the bizarre could work for him in a gonzo film, but as it is done here, it just comes across looking cheap and weird. If he utilized more locations and was slightly more careful about the footage that makes it into the film, he might have a great gonzo film in him. But as it stands, this isn't it. Diehard fans of Thomas Zupko will probably want to give the film a watch along with diehard fans of the stars.

Parting Thoughts:
Thomas Zupko's first gonzo film in seven years isn't the most impressive film that I have seen from him. If this film is a sign of future gonzo films to come, he might want to stick with features and vignettes. His odd sets don't mix well with the sex and the scene with Gia regurgitating completely turned me off to the film. If you don't mind some bile mixed in with your porn and you are a big fan of Thomas Zupko or one of the cast members you might want to give the title a rental. Otherwise, I'd pass on this one, as there are much better selections available.
