Initial Expectations: I had several thoughts hit me in quick succession upon looking at the title. “Who the heck put the transvestite between those three beautiful women?” was first. I then saw Cash Markman’s name. “He’s still around?” was next. “Who’s the transvestite?” came soon after. Oh, Dick Smothers Jr. “I didn’t know the Smothers Brothers liked women” narrowly beat the thought of “Wow. Another Scotty Schwartz”. Needless to say, I’m not going in here with overly high expectations.

Initial Reaction: It’s really close to my low expectations.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody curious about what Dick Smothers Jr. can do sexually

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting something that doesn’t feel like a stereotypical porno

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is clear and nicely balanced. The video is very clear, but the lighting is a bit inconsistent at times. The third scene has some very obvious lighting differences, and go from being nicely lit to having some very grey shadings. There’s also a couple remnants that rear their ugly faces.

Music: The music is almost a hint too loud, but not quite loud enough to complain about. It’s very different from your normal porn music, and often has a folk feeling with lyrics. There’s even a tune that sounds a lot like the oldies tune Sleepwalking, which isn’t a reaction I’d normally want people associating with a porno if I made one.

Menus: The menus are pretty basic. The main menu is unanimated and doesn’t give me much of a first impression. The chapter menu, however, shows a little care by letting you choose a scene based on a small clip from each scene and the name of the leading lady in the scene.

The Feature: Bad Influence is Dick Smothers Jr.’s excursion into porn. He’s doing it with a ripoff of the classic The Graduate, with Ona Zee playing Mrs. Wilkinson and Aurora Snow playing the girl he’s in love with.

Randy Spears starts things out with his secretary, Ava Vincent. He kisses his way across her sundress and down to her pussy, which he tongues slowly. They briefly joke around as Ava undresses Randy a bit and then sucks his cock. Ava climbs on Randy’s skin spear and grinds on it before laying back for him to fuck him. Randy finishes things up popping on Ava’s snatch. It’s a nice opening scene that has some decent energy with great chemistry and a fun spirit. It’s a fairly typical porn scene, but rises above that due to the chemistry and humor. It’s also by far the best scene in the movie.

Ona Zee lures Dick Smothers Jr. up to her bedroom in classic Mrs. Robinson style. She kisses him, teases him, and strokes him until Dick pops on his stomach. It’s a mildly amusing scene, but ends up a bit of a disappointment. Ona plays her role great, but Dick just comes off as kind of pathetic. At least he shows himself to be a little different from Scotty Schwartz by actually popping.

Dick watches Cindy Crawford, an extremely cute natural bodied bleached blonde, get it on with pool boy Lee Stone. He tongues her pierced pussy and pucker. Cindy puts some nice effort into returning Lee’s oral favors, and gives him some great eyes as she sucks him. Cindy moves on to ride Lee cowgirl style before he picks her up and fucks her in mid-air. They keep things up with Lee fucking Cindy from behind before finishing it up missionary style and with Cindy taking Lee’s nut butter on her pussy. It’s an okay scene that’s lucky to make it that far due to the horrible editing. Cindy looks to be really enjoying herself, which is always the making of a great scene, but the camera seemed like it didn’t want to show her face for much of the scene. It also had the need to keep flashing to Dickie watching them, which is one heck of a great way to kill a boner. Lee Stone should be the male focus of the scene, but his face doesn’t get close to the screen time that Dickie does. The editing in this scene almost seems like it was trying to kill the heat deliberately. Cindy deserves to hunt down Cash Markman and Digital and pluck every hair below the waist off of each and every one of them with a tweezers for how they massacred this scene.

Jessica Darlin gets it on with Brett Rockman, done up to look like Elvis, in the fourth scene. She moves down to mouth Brett’s supersized schlong, and gags on it several times. Brett tongues her twat in return before fucking it doggie and cowgirl style. They move to missionary and spooning for Brett to do some butthole bangin’, and Jessica even takes a nice ass to mouth. This scene did next to nothing for me. Brett Rockman normally does next to nothing for me, but here it was Jessica that turned me off. She sounded like a diesel truck trying to turn over through almost the entire scene, and basically annoyed the heck out of me. She takes it in the ass like a champ, but it wasn’t enough to make me hold back from reaching for the remote. The only thing I can really say that I liked about the scene other than laughing at Brett Rockman dressed up like Elvis, was the finish. Jessica does a great job taking a facial, and makes the ending seem like a great thing in more ways than one.

Ona Zee takes on Mark Davis in the penultimate scene. She sucks his cock in a back alley before leaning against a tin wall so he can eat and fuck her from behind. They finish things up with Mark stroking himself until he gives Ona an average facial that she gets into as much as possible. It’s supposed to be a bad porno scene, and that’s just what it comes across as. I normally like Mark Davis, and was really looking forward for Ona to get a little more action after her earlier scene. Instead, it just feels kind of sloppy, and didn’t do a thing for me.

Dick Smothers Jr. finishes things up with Aurora Snow. He drives Aurora out to a secluded spot so he can probe Aurora’s pussy with his tongue and fingers and so she can suck his cock without them having to worry about getting interrupted. Aurora moves up to ride Dickie cowgirl style, as well as letting him fuck her in several other positions. It’s a decent final scene, with Aurora doing a great job showing her softer side rather than the nastier side.

Bad Influence seems to know just what it is, as it makes several comments throughout the movie about being stuck in a bad movie. It’s actually one of the few movies I’ve watched that started out good, in this case with a great scene between Ava Vincent and Randy Spears, and go downhill almost continuously. In some cases, it even looks like it tries to have bad scenes. The editing is horrible in many of the scenes, and I frequently wanted to see something other than what the camera was showing. The story is almost as bad. It tries to rip off The Graduate, but does so in a way that rather than seeming mildly amusing, seemed kind of pathetic. The main reason I think I got this feeling was Dick Smothers Jr. Dickie does a much better job than Scottie Schwartz sexually, but couldn’t seem to get a look off his face that would make me think of him as much other than a dumbass. At least Scotty had a ‘young and cute’ look that could get him through some of his movie. Dickie just made me wonder if the doctors not only dropped him after he was born, but shot hoops with him using the garbage can when they saw how well he bounced.

Despite my criticism of Dickie and this movie, I can’t help but think that quite a few people will enjoy Bad Influence. Ona Zee and Randy Spears are both excellent in their roles, and you can tell that the cast has some fun with the movie. It does have some decent humor and chemistry to the sex, and it did start out on the wrong foot with me. If Bad Influence sounds like it might be your thing, give it a rental. You just might be surprised, but then again, you might not.

The photo gallery lasts about two and a third minutes with about seven seconds per nice looking full screen photo. Trailers are included for Cap’n Mongo’s Porno Playhouse, Shock, and Succubus. There’s also internet and contact information and VCA’s wall to wall option that lets you watch the movie without worrying about all the fast forward fodder.

Overall: Currently, most VCA DVDs can be found online for between $17 and $28, with most stores offering them for around $20. This one was a huge disappointment for me, so I’d suggest that most people rent it first if they’re interested in it. There’s a couple of good scenes, but there’s also a few that did absolutely nothing for me. The technical aspects are good, but have a couple faults, and there’s nothing really worth mentioning for extras.
