Uhm..... I don't think I've ever seen anything like this... There may be something similar, but I haven't seen it. Ass Collector is unique in its presentation of good plot and good acting, along side artful and yet extremely erotic anal sex.

A NOTE ABOUT CAST IDENTIFICATION:
Identification of European performers has long proven to be a daunting challenge. Ass Collector does take some steps in helping to identify the cast on a scene by scene basis with its "Cast List By Scene" pages under the special features menu of the first disc. Although this does make identification considerably easier than with many other porn studios' releases, it still lacks in the detail of which person is which within the scenes. Further, I am one of the least qualified people to provide such identification. Therefore I have shamelessly stolen from posts made on ADT that helped identify the performers of this feature on a per scene basis. Please forgive me if I make incorrect identifications--I assume full responsibility for any errors, but I must give all the credit for any correct information to Sbando Boy, Speelie, qrop and all the other Euro-babe educated folks on ADT (please forgive me if I left anyone out).

PREFACE:
Rocco Siffredi is a raincoater's pornographic master--and for good reason. INTRODUCTION:
The Ass Collector is the latest in Rocco's consistent string of first class pornography. It is a plot oriented feature, with one of the best videographers in the business, Jack Remy, at the reigns. I have heard that The Ass Collector is most decidedly not Rocco at his hardest, and that is fine by me, as even the softer Rocco has proven to be excellent porn. My wife and I will watch this one together, and I will be including her thoughts where she had them as well as mine in this review under separate headings. This is a feature that has pulled out all the stops, with an excellent videographer, a first class director, and plot written by a proven screenwriter (Gabriel Zero), and a bevy of ravishingly gorgeous Euro-babes. So without further adieu, let us see if it lives up to expectations...

Title Sequence: The title sequence of the movie deserves mention as it actually introduces us to the story as the titles are being displayed, much like most of todays mainstream movies. We see a person who we can only assume is the evil doer rubbing a spiky finger attachment up the bare stomach of a women who he has tied up spread eagle in a very run down looking building. Outside the building the police, led by our hero Rocco, are getting ready to pounce on this shady character in an ambitious display of vehicles, weapons, and costumes. The videography is very well done here, as the story is introduced by an authentically exciting sequence, the likes of which is extraordinarily rare in the porn world. The sequence is basically a series of quick cut impressions, which, while confusing, ends with the police rescuing the woman, but without successfully capturing the villian.

Interlude: The aforementioned bad guy, the Ass Collector (Chris Knight), is seen dressed in semi-drag in his lair--another very raw looking building, which I'm sure wouldn't meet standard US building codes. There are seven women laying on separate platforms with hoses somehow attached to their necks. The Ass Collector screams at them in a somewhat psychopathic rage, asking, "Why are you laughing at me". No one is, but he seems convinced, and is frightfully upset about it. After this, we cut to the police, where Rocco admits to his superioir that they lost him. His superioir releaves Rocco of his command and hands the case over to Detective Long, played by Melinda Casta--a very hot short-haired blonde with an unfortunate stud in her lower lip. The Girl
Zsabina a.k.a Jasmine a.k.a Sabrina is a very attractive brunette.
The Action

Interlude: For those few of you who care, and for the even fewer of you who like to be surprised, I won't give away the ending, but I will say this is a surprisingly complex plot, that might even deserve rewatching in order to understand fully. The acting, overall was first rate by porn standards. In any case, the good guy wins (or... does he?), and as we are about to see, he DEFINITELY gets the girls.

In this reviewers humble opinion, this is the best scene of the movie. Monica is a hot little looker who seems able to take Rocco's big cock with gusto. She is the center of attention here and for good fucking reason. The other two girls are ok, but if not for the need of the plot to have them there (assuming I'm drawing the right conclusions about what actually happens at the end), I would have preferred that they were not involved at all. It's definitely a softer side of Rocco, but quite enjoyable nonetheless.

My wife agreed with me on two things. 1.) That Monica Sweet was the hottest woman in the movie, and 2.) That this was the best scene of the movie. It didnt' have the stylistic elements that the 10 on 1 orgy had, but it had some genuinely hot sex, a better use of the performers than the earlier 3 on 1 had, and some nice variety that finally delivered a second orgasm to Mrs. MLyons. End Credits: There are a number of outtakes that play over the end credits of the movie. Some of them are amusing, some are a little upsetting, but all were very interesting. It's the perfect way to close out a movie that I have a hard time classifying within the landscape of the current porn world.

DVD QUALITY:
As with almost all Evil Angel DVDs, the video quality was outstanding. The audio had both a stereo, and a 5.1 mix, although I was only able to listen to it in stereo. The sound was extremely well done, with excellent use of music, and clear and precise delievery of both voices and even breathing. It's surprising how well done sound can boost not only storytelling, but eroticism, and in this case, for me, it absolutely did. Videographer / cinemetrapher Jack Remy is currently the best in the business at what he does, and that is in evidence here. He makes use of special effects, excellent editing, clear and stylistic lighting and unparalleled camera work that not only gives a flattering portrayal of the sex scenes, but also adds a stylistic and cohesive throughline to a somewhat dark and complex adult feature.

EXTRAS:
The Ass Collector comes with two DVDs, and one CD of the soundtrack to the movie. The first disc had on it the feature itself, Evil Angel's acclaimed fetish menu, two trailers for The Ass Collector, a still photo gallery, and the aforementioned "Cast List By Scene" pages. For those of you who don't know, the Fetish menu is a fantabulous little device that allows you to jump to specific parts of several scenes according to a particular fetish--in this case, blowjobs, hot sex, rimming, anal, cumshots and feet. I was disappointed that the trailers were only for the movie I was about to watch and not for other Evil Angel efforts, like... say, The Fashionistas, but they were interesting nonetheless. Evil Angel does chaptering better than any other adult company out there, and that is again in evidence here. The photo gallery is a photo gallery--it does its job, but I'm usually not too interested in them. The extras really shine on the second DVD, which contains a 78 minute making of documentary, as well as extra footage of some of the sex scenes. The documentary is basically a cut together collage of behind the scenes footage, roughly grouped according to the shooting locations. This was a fascinating piece of video that revealed not only the logistical trials and tribulations of making a movie like this, but also some very intimate moments between some of the performers, Rocco, Jack Remy, and Gabriel Zero. The extra footage contained good quality cutting room floor snippets from Rocco's scene with Tiffany, the scene on the red platform, the Vanessa, Dana, Chris Knight, Manuel Ferrara slaughter house scene, and the final scene with Monica Sweet. All in all, an excellent package of extras that is worthy of this unique adult feature.

OVERALL: As I've already stated, I'm not sure that I can compare this movie with any adult feature I've ever seen. The degree to which this unique movie marries well executed plot and videography with extremely erotic and sometimes dominant anal sex is unparalleled in my experience. That's not to say that similar efforts aren't out there. There may be some close similarities to some of Private's big budget offerings, but I hesitate to make that comparison. This is not Rocco at his hardest by a long shot, and with the exception of the last one, the sex scenes, by and large, are very brief, and slightly mismanaged in comparison to what we know Rocco is capable of. For that reason alone, I knocked the overall rating down to 4-1/2 stars. However, there is great emphasis here on well executed plot and style with an eye for the cohesive whole which in no way detracts from the quality of the sex that is there; and that is the key factor that sets this feature apart from countless others in this genre of adult video. Those who are looking for the rough sex of Animal Trainer #4, or Rocco's Way to Love will not find what they seek here. On the other hand, if you're looking for a couples movie, I would make sure your other half knew what she was in for (mine did, and she really enjoyed it). However, if you're looking for harder edged, anal oriented sex that is a cohesive part of a well executed story, look no further. As far as feature porn goes, this is the best I've ever seen. Bravo, Rocco, and bravo Evil Angel.
