The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are nearly excellent. The audio is clear and well balanced, and I barely noticed a single sound out of place except for one spot. A few seconds before the one hour and eleven minute mark a weird noise took over the audio. You could still hear the performers, but a scratchy pulse took over the audio for roughly forty five seconds that’s impossible to miss. The video is just as good. It has a slightly soft feeling that helps to give the feature a slightly artistic feeling, and is very nicely lit. With the exception of about forty five seconds, this movie looks and sounds gorgeous.

Music: There’s a little dark electronic music as the scenes start. It doesn’t last the entire scene and works very well to give the scenes an intense feeling right from the start.

Menus: The main menu is very nicely animated, and makes a great and dark first impression. The chapter keeps that feel, but just allows you to choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene.

The Feature

There are things you expect from certain directors. Plot isn’t one of them with Jonni Darko. Ball draining anal sex with beautiful women in sexy outfits is, and that’s just what he gives you here.

Scene 1 - Taylor Rain and Manuel Ferrara

Taylor starts things out looking smoking in a black and white outfit while warming up her ass with a few fingers and licking her ass juices off them. Scene 4 - Haley and Ben English

Jonni Darko shows once again why he’s developed so much notice and such a quick following with Anal Perversions. Once again he’s assembled a great cast who obviously loves taking it in the can, and he nicely divides the labor between American girls and European girls. There’s never any doubt about whether the girls love anal sex, and surprisingly my biggest problem with the movie is that I don’t think it goes far enough. Although every scene her worked amazingly well for me, with a title like Anal Perversions I expected things to go farther. There’s nothing beyond what I’ve seen in Darko’s Anal Trainer series, and from the title I would have expected Anal Perversions to go farther with things like extremely large cocks or double penetrations (including possibly a double anal). The only real difference here seems to be that the cast gets to the main action a little quicker. All that said, I can easily forgive Jonni Darko for this just because every scene was incredibly hot. Anal Perversions isn’t close to perverse,

The Extra Stuff

Trailers are included for seven of Digital Sin’s current all sex series. The photo gallery includes nearly forty very nice looking full screen photos and snapshots. There’s also a trailer for Digital Sin’s website, company information, a behind the scenes featurette, and a bonus scene.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts over ten minutes. Rather than including a minute or two with each performer, this featurette concentrates entirely on the lovely Taylor Rain. You get to see quite a bit of her personality, and even her car, as Danny the behind the scenes guy follows her from the make-up area to the set where she gets ready with Jonni Darko. I would have liked to have seen a few of the other performers here, but this works well enough that I can’t complain too much.

Bonus Scene - Katrina Kraven and Manuel Ferrara

Currently, many Digital Sin DVDs can be found online for between $15 and $29 with many stores offering them for around $20. Although there’s a minor audio problem for about a minute of the movie, this one’s still worth the money. Every sex scene here is a winner and gives you plenty of nasty one on one anal action. There’s even some nice care given to the extras to make this one of the best overall DVDs I’ve seen from Digital Sin in years!

Note to Digital Sin: Please watch your quality control on your technical aspects a bit better. The audio problems in the fourth scene held you back from a perfect rating overall here. On the other hand, it’s really great to see you putting some effort into your overall DVDs! You’ve been putting out plenty of nicely done movies lately, so now it’s nice to see you turning your attention to the full package! Keep up the great work!
