Initial Expectations: I’ve been really impressed with what I’ve seen from Johnni Darko, and go into every one of his movies with high expectations.

Initial Reaction: It’s got plenty of hot sex, but it just isn’t perverse in the least!

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting really nasty and limit pushing anal action

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: As usual with Johnni Darko, the technical aspects are very well done. The audio is clear and well balanced, and I don’t think I noticed a single background noise. The video is also very nicely done. There’s almost a hint of grain, but it’s handled here in a way that makes it seem more artistic rather than detracting from the movie. It’s also very well lit and although the camera seems to be in motion much of the time. There’s a couple fast zooms and a little camera shake, but is near perfect even with those minor faults.

Music: There’s a little electronic music at the start of each scene that’s often a bit on the dark side. It helps set up the scenes nicely by being a bit loud, and then drops back very well to let the performers take over for the heavy part of the audio.

Menus: The menus are pretty good. The main menu has some decent animation which does a nice job of setting the mood for the feature. The chapter menu is also pretty good, and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene, as well as choosing between two different points in each scene.

The Feature

There are things you expect from certain directors. Plot isn’t one of them with Johnni Darko. Ball draining anal sex with beautiful women in sexy outfits is, and that’s just what he gives you here.

Scene 1 - Katarina and Neeo

Katarina barely gets a chance to show off in her hot pink fishnet outfit before she’s joined by Neeo, who goes right to work tonguing and fingering her holes as she poses on all fours in front of him. This is a pretty good scene. Katarina puts in some nice vocals and seems to get into things nicely. I don’t know what it is, but I couldn’t help but feel that something was still missing from the scene, and was thrown off slightly by it because of that feeling. It just might be the amount of vaginal sex at the start, which seemed like a bit much for a movie with a heavy anal focus.

Scene 2 - Holly Hollywood and Mark Ashley

Of course, Johnni also helps things out by capturing it extremely well with his usual style and grace. This is a nicely done and hot scene.

Scene 4 - Alicia Rhodes and Ben English

Alicia starts things out showing off her killer body in a fishnet outfit and diddling herself lightly. Scene 5 - Katarina and Joel Lawrence

Katarina gives a very quick show before starting to slide a glass toy into her ass. Joel joins her almost immediately, and just as quickly the toy falls by the wayside as Katarina starts blowing him. This is a good scene, and leaves me with the same feeling as Katarina’s opening scene. She puts in great energy, has nice chemistry with Joel, and isn’t afraid of the anal. I’m not sure if the location this scene was shot at was extremely hot or if she and Joel just put that much into the scene, but seeing Katrina drenched in sweat before the scene was over gave me a good feeling for her as a performer. That said, there was way too much vaginal action for the scene. It’s nicely balanced with the anal, but that just didn’t seem right for this movie.

Although a well made fuck flick, I can’t help but be a little disappointed by Anal Perversions 2. When I think of Johnni Darko’s straight work with Digital Sin, three series come to mind: Anal Trainer, ATM Machine, and Anal Perversions. When I look at the titles and think of the intensity of the series, I can’t help but think that I’d put them in that same order for increasing intensity. Instead, Anal Perversions has been the most tame of his work. While Anal Trainer has a slight domination feel at times or a feeling of the girls pushing themself slightly anally and ATM Machine has a bit more ass to mouth action, I don’t see anything in this series to set it apart in any way other than it seems to have less of each of those aspects. With a title like Anal Perversions I can’t help but expect things like anal cream pies, preferably with a bit of cum eating, double penetrations, maybe even with a bit of double anal, and possibly even a bit of anal action directed towards the guys. There’s nothing close to that here, and because of it I couldn’t help but feel a bit disappointed with Anal Perversions 2.

If one leaves the expectations of what the sex should be aside, Anal Perversions 2 is a darn hot movie. There’s nice chemistry and energy in all of the scenes, and the girls aren’t afraid to get a little nasty. Alicia Rhodes easily stole the movie for me, although Holly Hollywood was also very impressive. Johnni Darko also provides excellent camera work, capturing the action from several angles and keeping things nicely balanced. His eye really helps move the movie up a notch from where it might be, and it’s easy to see why he was offered a place in the Evil Empire. Anal Perversions 2 is a well done anal movie, just don’t go in expecting anything too perverse.

The Extra Stuff

Trailers are included for seven of Digital Sin’s series. The photo gallery contains roughly three dozen very nice looking full screen photos. There’s also a bonus scene, behind the scenes featurette, and company and internet information.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about six minutes and centers around Alicia Rhodes. There’s a few interviews with Alicia, as well as a bit of time talking with her and Ben English about differences between the English and American language. You also get to see Johnni Darko working with her and having a little fun. It’s a fairly short behind the scenes, but keeps things focused pretty well. For the length and focus, it’s a nicely done behind the scenes and well worth checking out if you’re a fan of Alicia Rhodes.

Bonus Scene - Luisa DeMarco and George Uhl

The bonus scene comes from Big Natural Breasts. Luisa starts off walking down the street until she meets George. They kiss and head up to an apartment where they continue to kiss passionately as they help each other undress. Things did pick up once she got into the cowgirls, but even then I had my doubts. The camera work is handled pretty nice, and mixes up the angles to give a nice balance of shots. Truth be told, outside of Luisa’s looks, the camera work was what impressed me the most about the scene.

As a bonus scene, Digital Sin shows some nice care here. Rather than just getting straight to the sex, the opening credits for the movie are also included. This lets you know who the other performers in the movie are in addition to giving you a taste of the movie itself with the bonus scene. Although I’d like it clearly stated who the performers in the scene are, you can figure it out pretty easy here. This is a nice way to handle the bonus scene.

Currently, many Digital Sin DVDs can be found online for between $15 and $29 with many stores offering them for around $20. As usual, Johnni Darko gives you a movie that’s well worth the money. The sex isn’t close to being perverse, but it is very hot. The technical aspects are also very well done and there’s some nice effort put into the extras. This is a disc worth checking out.

Note to Digital Sin: It’s great to see you putting effort into your extras. I like how you present the bonus scenes and the behind the scenes featurettes are also a great addition. Please keep up the great work on your extras and technical aspects while putting out this good of movies. Also, please watch your closing credits here. I think the last scene was the only one you got right and having the credits start out claiming it was for ASSume the Position doesn’t help anything.
