A bit of old gold from Private, and also old gold from director Steve Perry before his Ben Dover line. I've seen a few of Steve Perry's efforts for Private and enjoyed them all. Each combined anal, multiple partners, DPs, facials and a refreshing lack of seriousness with good technical and production values (except for the hammy acting but that's part of the fun). My only complaint is that Steve has a habit of crosscutting two or more scenes, meaning that occasionally you don't see the end of a scene until fifty minutes after it started, having seen two entire other scenarios play out in the meantime. I don't mind the technique in itself, it's just a bit irritating when it's overdone. Anal Clinic suffers a little from this but only a little.

As usual for Private the women are good-looking, their clothes are sexy, their make-up and hair are well done and the guys are buff. One of the reasons I like this one so much is that it features gorgeous Julia Chanel, called Lydia Chanel in the credits, who does anal and DP and gets some cum-makeup while her very hot body and beautiful eyes are the visual highlight of each scene she's in - and she's in three.

Anal Clinic starts with a pace-setting scene. The delectably British Stephanie Hart-Rogers plays Dr Madelaine Dupont, the head of a sex clinic, and we see her in one of the rooms giving instruction to two couples. This seems to be typical of Steve Perry's idea of plot in porn from what I've seen, make it simple and clear and get it over with. This one is a cliche - it must have been used a thousand times by now - and is handled with humour. Steph is wearing glasses over which she peers sexily, and a white labcoat under which we occasionally glimpse white lingerie. One of the women is Julia Chanel, dressed in blue lingerie which contrasts with her coffee-coloured skin and makes her look even more delicious, the other is a blonde (Dominique Perignon, I think) whose body doesn't have the lean muscularity of Julia's athletic build (almost anyone pales in comparison anyway, IMO) but is a little more zaftig and womanly. The ladies are lying back on what look like high-end gynecologist's chairs and each is sucking off a nude buff bloke while the Dr checks their technique. She suggests they move on to vaginal fucking and the boys oblige. Julia Chanel in two out of the first three sex scenes is a big bonus for any movie as far as I'm concerned and she looks absolutely stunning here, with good makeup and hair plus a string of pearls around her neck.

The silly plot and hammy dialogue don't distract you, rather they break up the wall-to-wall sex in an engaging way which doesn't spoil the playful mood.
