Synopsis:
In this, the fourth volume of Adam & Eve's all sex pro-am series, newer female adult talent is paired up with seasoned male veterans.

Audio/Video:
Amateur Angels 4 is presented with an English 2.0 Stereo track, which is decent for the film but suffers from the same problem that other entries in this series suffer from. The audio levels for the sex scenes appear to be higher than the audio levels for the interviews. The levels are closer to being correct in this volume as compared to some, but some viewers will probably still be bothered by it. The dialog is clear and easy to hear at all times. Adam & Eve hasn't included any foreign language tracks or subtitle options for the feature film.

Amateur Angels 4 is presented in the full screen aspect ratio of 1.33:1, which appears to be the original aspect ratio for the film. The video is in great shape with no artifacts, blemishes or glitches present anywhere in the film. The color levels are also correctly set. The picture isn't as sharp as some of Adam & Eve's current releases, but this is an older title so I suspect that it wasn't made with the higher quality equipment that they are using these days. The film looks good though and viewers shouldn't be disappointed.

Special Features:
Adam & Eve has included a few extras on the disc for your added enjoyment. There is a photo gallery with 42 stills on a track. There are bios, with text information and a picture, for all of the female cast members. There is a behind the scenes piece showing the photo shoots, preparation for scenes and other assorted stuff. There are also previews for Amateur Angels 3, Sex Across America 6: Hawaii, and the feature film Amateur Angels 4. Also included on the disc, under the heading 'Set-Up' are color bars for tuning your television correctly for this disc, if you know how to use them.

Disc Design/Navigation:
The disc is designed with simple animated menus that look good. There are six chapters available from the chapter menu for the feature film. They are identified by a video clip from the scene and the name of the female star performing in the scene. There are 41 chapter stops within the feature film itself. This film also features Adam & Eve's hot shot feature, which allows you during the sex scene to click on an icon and go to the cum shot. The only problem that I have with this feature is that the hot shot icon is always on in the corner of the screen. There is no way for the viewer to disable it, so you are stuck with the image there even if you don't want it. There is no time code for the feature film encoded on the disc.

General Review:
This entry in the Amateur Angels series follows the same formula as the ones that have come before it. Each scene starts out with Luc Wylder interviewing the cast members for the scene. In past volumes the emphasis has been mostly on the female cast members for the interviews. In this one however, there are several new male cast members as well, so those interviews involve the male talent more than the others. After the interview, the scene goes into the sex and after the sex, the next scene starts. This is a rather common format for this style film. The locations used are your standard looking indoor locations. I wish there was more variety to the locations used to the film looked different.

The cast for the film is a mixed bag. Some of them look great and put on some good sexual performances. Others were disappointing overall and some were just average. The best scene in the film is from the boyfriend/girlfriend pairing of Jubilee and J.R. Neilson, who have some great energy and enthusiasm. One of the biggest problems with the film is the scenes are very formulaic. There are slight variances to some of them, but ultimately they all have the same basic design. It's very unfortunate that this happens so often with films designed for couples audiences.

The sex scenes are tame so couples and viewers that like tame sex shouldn't have any problems with them. Viewers that require nastier sex will probably find themselves bored with this film as there are no extreme acts or anal sex in the film. The sexual themes in the film are vaginal sex with blow jobs, pussy eating (male to female and female to female), lesbianism, pussy fingering and vaginal toy use. For viewers that care about condom use, condoms are used in all of the scenes except for the one with Jubilee and J.R. Neilson.

The fourth scene features Ann Marie and Becca Bratt and includes pussy eating and vaginal toy use. The fifth scene gives us Hope Rising and Ian Daniels and starts out with some pussy fingering before it goes into the blow job. Then the scene goes into some vaginal sex before going into a blow job and pussy fingering combo. The scene ends with some more vaginal sex. The sixth and final scene presents us with Trinity and Leo and starts out with some pussy eating before it goes into the blow job. The scene concludes with some vaginal sex.

Parting Thoughts:
As with other entries in the Amateur Angels series from Adam & Eve, Amateur Angels 4 ends up being your average adult film. There are some scenes that I found to be very enjoyable and others that were mediocre and one that I found to be below average. If you like an adult film with a plot or nastier sex this isn't the title for you. If you like tamer sex and no plot what-so-ever then you might want to give this title a chance, just don't pay too much for it.
