All My Best... Justine Review

If you're new to Andrew Blake erotica, then this just might be the way to go for you. Featuring scenes dating as far back as 2001, All My Best is a sort of Greatest Hits or Best Of featuring Justine Joli's Andrew Blake scenes. The film features a stellar lineup of erotic stars including such names as Elle Williams, Aria Giovanni, Kyla Cole and Adriana Sage, just to name a few. The focus is on sexual fashion through a lens of masturbation and girl-girl erotica. So what's the verdict on All My Best: Justine? Keep reading.

First off, I have to complement the packaging of this DVD. As with most Andrew Blake films, the spine is nondescript and the cover art is very tasteful. You don't have to stick this one in the porn box! The menu is very clean and easy to navigate, with large thumbnails of each chapter to help viewers pick out the specific scene they're after. We like that.

I'm impressed by the director commentary which you can turn on or off from the main menu. I've never seen this in an Andrew Blake film before and I think its a nice touch. The commentary track is very well-done and unobtrusive, playing only during the first few moments of each scene. Blake is full of interesting trivia, from how he met certain models, to how the set was procured, and even commenting on some tension that may have existed on set. Its akin to setting up the clip on a late night talk show, and the viewer is allowed to watch the remainder of the scene as it was originally presented.

Now I know, you all want to hear about the good stuff. What about the content? In short All My Best: Justine is amazing. And its not surprising in the least. This compilation depicts the collaboration of one of the greatest adult film directors of our time with Justine Joli, a woman of both stunning beauty and a true performance artist in every way. This is a girl who has done off-Broadway productions, performs innovative burlesque shows and based on interviews, is remarkably well grounded and intelligent. Of course these two are going to create beautiful art!

As with any Andrew Blake film, I tip my hat to the stellar sets. From beautiful French Chateaus to post-modern rooms with expansive windows surveying lush greenery, Blake creates an environment of class and taste. A few scenes are littered with neoclassical sculptures with a lovely post-Renaissance feel that I love.

On screen, Justine is sex personified. She simply owns the room and moves with great deliberation and sensuality. The eroticism is tangible for nearly every moment that Justine is in the camera. She is a true performance artist, and she plays to the camera so tenderly. With other women, the chemistry is there especially with Adrianna Sage and Elle Williams.

For the art and glam connoisseur: you will love this DVD. Unlike most pornography, this is something that you will want to watch from start to finish. It is damned erotic, but its also very enticing on a more visceral level. There's more to these scenes than getting off, and I wish more people could accomplish that in their porn.

One of my favorite moments in this film is the eighth scene featuring Justine and Aria Giovanni. Here you have two of the most beautiful women to grace the erotic world on screen together. When they kiss, it is electrical. Not only that, but I was awe stricken to see Aria with a large glass dildo in hand. She doesnt do a lot of action scenes, and it was purely magical to watch her ease that rod into Justine's wanting pussy. All the while, the fashion drives the show as Justine's transparent black dress complemented Arias revealing white gown.

Another golden moment is shared between Adrianna Sage and Justine Joli in the tenth scene, entitled Kisses / Lips. This scene starts with a good bit of ass-worship with Justine paying homage to Adrianna's posterior. This scene then turns into the most gratuitous cunnilingus scene I've ever seen in a Blake film. Justine just goes on and on. It is captivating.

As usual for Andrew Blake's movies, the film comes with an associated photo gallery. Not surprisingly, the photographs are the height of fashionable erotic art. My only complaint is that the interface is a bit clumsy. The photos are strung together into a slideshow. I would much rather be presented with a contact sheet of thumbnails which I can easily pick and choose individual photographs to focus on.

In conclusion, All My Best: Justine is a fabulous collection of erotica. For die hard fans of Justine Joli or Andrew Blake, this one's a no-brainer: buy.

But what about the average fan? If you have a lot of Andrew Blake films starring Justine Joli, then you've probably seen most of this, so you might want to pass. On the other hand, if you enjoy smart feminine and lesbian erotica set at a tantalizing pace, then you will love this film. For those of the artsy persuasion, I suggest adding this film to your collection.
