Initial Expectations: Luc Wylder has made some very enjoyable features in the past. I’m expecting to add this one to that list.

Initial Reaction: It’s a lot of fun and one of the best features I’ve seen from Luc Wylder in a while.

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is clear and fairly well balanced, but there are a few background noises here and there. Most of the background noises are outdoors, but there are a few indoor as well. The video is clear and nicely lit. Not surprisingly, there are a few extra shadows when outdoors, but they feel natural.

Music: None.

Disc Problems / Complaints: Adult Stars at Home has my biggest DVD pet peeve. There’s no time stamp, which means you can’t just jump to any point in the movie. You have to scan around throughout the movie to get anywhere. This always pisses me off, mostly because from what I understand it takes less effort than opening a Twinkie wrapper to do it. The lack of a time stamp always makes me think that the company just wanted to push the DVD out on the market rather than putting in anything beyond the absolute minimum effort to make things as they should be. Because of this, I’ve deducted a half point from the overall score.

Menus: The menus are simple, but have a fun feel. The chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene.

The Feature: Adult Stars at Home goes with a simple premise. It shows adult stars in their homes as real people. In each scene, the stars mix a tour of their house with sex with their significant other or visiting friend.

Things start out at Nicole Sheridan and Voodoo’s house, where Nicole is in the process of whupping Voodoo at chess. They give the camera a tour around the house, and when they get to the bottom of the pool-to-be, they start getting busy. Nicole starts out sucking Voodoo before he has her take of her panties so he can lick her while she sucks him. Nicole cuts things short so they don’t get in trouble with their neighbors for making too much noise and takes everybody back inside for a bit more of a tour. Luckily the tour goes to one of the bedrooms, where Nicole and Voodoo fuck while watching each other in one of the mirrors. They move to another room where Nicole does some naked ballet before letting Voodoo fuck her a little more. After getting most of the standard positions taken care of, Nicole and Voodoo finish things up standing so they can look at each other before Nicole squirts all over Voodoo’s cock followed by Voodoo popping in her pussy. It’s a hot and very fun scene. Not surprisingly it has great chemistry, as well as a very natural feel. It’s a great way to start the feature, and raised my hopes for the rest of the feature.

Chennin Blanc and Cheyne Collins show off their house, including plenty of their personal pictures, before showing how they have sex at home. They give each other an oral warmup before Cheyne fucks Chennin in a few of the most couch-friendly positions. After a couple positions Chennin tries taking off to get a root beer, but soon ends up with Cheyne pile-driving her. It doesn’t take too long before Cheyne decorates Chennin from her bush down to her tits. It’s a pretty hot scene with the usual great chemistry that Chennin and Cheyne show when together.

Charlie’s house is the next stop, where Lola has also stopped by to play. They quickly get to Charlie’s bedroom, where she shows off many of her toys, before getting busy with Lola on her bed. After Lola works her over on the bed, Charlie decides to continue the tour. They find themselves in another room which just happen to have a bag full of Adam & Eve toys. They examine the toys before Charlie decides its her turn for a taste. Charlie quickly moves on to break out the double dildo, which she first fucks Lola with from behind and then gets on the other end of. It’s an okay scene, but quite disappointing as well. There’s plenty of attention given to the toys on the tour portion of the scene, but very few are used in the actual scene. It’s also a fairly laid back scene, and I’ve always expected a lot of intensity from both of these ladies. It also seemed like there was more to come when the scene finished. All in all, it’s a pretty average scene, which is something I rarely see from Charlie or Lola.

Zana’s house is the final stop, which Billy Glyde is also visiting. Unlike the other houses, much of Zana’s tour takes place more outside and in her garage. When they get back inside Zana has Billy drop his drawers so she can suck his schlong. After Billy gets a little oral enjoyment, Zana decides to continue the tour and journey to her bedroom. After Zana shows off her locked porn closet, Billy throws her down to tongue her twat, which of course, causes Zana to do her best impression of a car starter. Zana takes the tour into her living room and dining room, where Billy finally takes his log to her beaver. They fuck missionary style on the couch and in a standing doggie alongside it before Zana collects Billy’s guy goo on her nicely implanted tits. It’s a pretty hot scene with good chemistry and energy. This isn’t any surprise, as I think Zana’s one of the most underrated performers out there, and I don’t think she’s disappointed me yet.

For some reason, Luc Wylder seems to think that people want to see porn stars as real people rather than just silicone enhanced fuck bunnies who need to spout bad lines before doing the horizontal mambo. Once again, he’s right and succeeds extremely well with Adult Stars at Home, which is a really fun feature. Surprisingly, Charlie and Lola’s scene is the biggest disappointment, but it’s still pretty average. The rest of the scenes are all very good, and they all have great chemistry. The biggest problem for me was the camera work. The camera rarely captured things like both performer’s facial expressions, which is something I always like to see. It also frequently cut off body parts, so you’d either see the performer’s face or their undercarriage. Luc Wylder has always had a rough and basic approach, so his fans probably won’t mind but new fans might be a little disappointed. There’s also next to nothing for interaction between the stars and Luc and the others behind the camera, which I think would have strengthened things a bit. Adult Stars at Home is a very good feature that does a great job of showing porn stars as people.

Extras: To start with, you get phone sex and other commercials before you reach the main menu. No, you can’t skip by them by hitting your handy dandy menu button, but you can skip forward to get past them. The photo gallery lasts about three and three quarter minutes, with about five seconds per nice looking snapshot. Bios are included for Charlie, Lola, Nicole Sheridan, Zana, and Chennin Blanc. Each bio nicely includes a little information as well as a photo of the star. Trailers are included for Seex Across America 7: Los Angeles and Amateur Angels 7. Of course, there’s also web links.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts almost twenty seven minutes, with G Man behind the camera. It nicely mixes some of the scenes being shot with the other things going on around the shoot. Unlike many behind the scenes featurettes, there’s some good attention given to every one of the scenes here. In each case, the featurette adds a little to each of the scenes, and gives a little better look at the stars’ personalities. It’s a very good behind the scenes featurette that you should take the time to watch if you enjoyed the feature.

Overall: Currently, many of Fallen Angel’s DVDs that they’ve teamed up with Adam & Eve for can be found online for between $13 and $22 with several stores offering them for around $15. This is a very fair price for what you get here. Although it has a few faults, it’s still a very enjoyable feature and a fairly well done DVD. The transfer is well done and there are some worthwhile extras.

Note to Fallen Angel / Adam & Eve: Please include a time stamp on your features in the future. As is, it makes the DVD feel a little half-assed.
