Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced for the most part, but there are a few minor level changes throughout the movie. The video is also nicely done, and presented in the full frame ratio. The video is clear and nicely lit, and for the most part has very little camera motion.

Menus: The main menu is okay, and blends a bit of action from the movie with a few stills of the girls. The chapter menu nicely lets you choose a scene based on a clip of the scene and the name of the girl in it. After you make your selection, you're given a second screen where you can choose where to go in the scene sexually.

The Feature

This scene just didn't do it for me, and was easily my least favorite in the movie.

The only thing that really held back this scene is the camera work, which often felt like it was limiting the scene by focusing on the penetration a bit much. Absolute Ass 5 is a hot anal movie. Jordan Septo keeps things fairly basic, but almost always does so in the absolutely right way. He gives a pretty good balance of camera angles in the scenes, and knows how to show both the penetration and the girl's reaction at the same time rather than doing a close-up of one or the other. That's really saying something here as you can tell that it's a one man show for the camera work. There's often the “one man show” feeling to the scenes, but at the same time it doesn't feel that way in a negative way. There's some nice teasing with a little personality to start off each scene, and there's some nice chemistry in each of the scenes that lets you know that each of the girls are into anal sex. Heck, even Tony T. manages to turn out a passionate buttfucking for Brooke Haven rather than showing how he can work his cock like a jackhammer and for his twenty minutes could probably get more done than many union construction crews at demolition (granted, he doesn't take any breaks in those twenty minutes). The only scene that didn't really work for me was Vanessa Lane's, and that's mostly because of her making me wonder if she was the female pornstar equivalent of Skeletor with implants and a tan and the desperate feel to her sexuality. Even then, however, there was a great feeling of chemistry between her and Brett Rockman that I'm sure will drive the scene for many of her fans. Absolute Ass 5 might have a couple minor faults, but it also shows that Jordan Septo is a director who's flying under the radar of way too many people. Absolute Ass 5 is a solid anal title, and although it might not break new ground and see how far it can drive things, it does know what it can do and does it as best it can with very nice results.

The Extra Stuff

The behind the scenes featurette lasts just over twenty minutes. The technical aspects also show some good care and there's a bit of effort put into the extras. This is a very solid DVD.
