Initial Expectations: POV porn has always lacked for me, and rarely gotten me excited. Chris Streams and 3rd Degree has done such a great job from what I’ve seen that I can’t help but look forward to this one.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty good. The audio is normally clear and well balanced, but there are a couple places where the balance is off a little as well as one spot with a background noise. The video, as usual, shows some nice care. It’s normally nicely lit and clear, but there are a couple spots where the lighting gets a bit bright and focused.

Music: None

Menus: The main menu does a nice job of blending the still from the cover with a little animation and a clip from the movie. The chapter menu shows some nice care as well, and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and the name of the girls in each scene.

The Feature

About Face is a simple piece of POV porn. The scenes often start out with a little tease before the girls go to work on “you”. Most of it’s shot from the position of the guy getting taken care of, so it’s all the easier to fantasize about being in the action. I’m not positive on all of the guys, but I put more studying into male genitalia for About Face than I wanted to do in my entire life to try to figure out which scenes had Chris and which had Mark.

Scene 1 - Naudia Nice and Chris Streams

Naudia, who reminds me a little of BellaDonna, starts things off in a red fishnet top and short shorts with a white hat, panties, belt, and boots. I also like Naudia’s look, which has a touch of exoticism to it. There’s a few shots which are off of the traditional POV shoot which might annoy some people, but I enjoyed the scene.

Scene 2 - Michelle B. and

Bottle blonde Michelle starts things out in a lacy pink bra and panties with little black bows. I think it’s some of the chemistry, which to me seems a common problem with POV porn. This is a good scene and will probably have varying results for people based on their enjoyment of POV porn.

Scene 3 - Trina Michaels, Shy Love, and

Blonde Trina, in a red outfit, and brunette Shy, in a chartreuse outfit, start things out kissing each other before moving over to suck Chris’s cock. This is another pretty good POV scene. It suffers a bit by having numerous shots that are more from the side than from where Chris’s head is. The girls look to be as into each other as they are into Chris, and play with each other nicely while fucking Chris. Yes, there are a few problems with the scene, but it still has plenty of chemistry to help it along.

Scene 4 - Roxy Jezel and Chris Streams

I would have loved to have seen her take it in the can here, but even without the anal this is a great scene.

Scene 5 - Barbara Summer, Jazmin, and Mark Ashley

There’s nice energy to go with the chemistry, and the girls smile frequently through the scene. The only thing that didn’t work too well was the pop, as Jazmin seemed a little cumshy. This is a pretty hot scene.

Scene 6 - Paola Rey and Chris Streams

Paola starts things out in a bright yellow and white outfit showing off her fantastic ass. About Face is my first POV movie, and I came out of it with mixed feelings. On one hand, there’s some nice energy and pretty good chemistry in each of the scenes. The positions are well chosen, but at the same time limited due to Chris normally working the camera as well as performing in the scene. On the other hand, I’m not a big fan of the style as I like a wide variety of camera angles. Chris does a good job of mixing things up for camera angles, which I think is a bit of a blessing and a curse. I like how it adds to the movie, but there’s several times when it looks like he’s holding the camera out to the side to give a slightly different perspective. I can see this bothering POV fans, but since this is my first POV movie it might be common in the genre. I can’t say for sure, but I do know that it threw me out a few times. About Face seems like a pretty good POV movie, but although I can see why some guys enjoy it I can’t say that I saw anything here to make me rush out and check out more movies in the genre.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts almost eight minutes. Naudia starts things out getting dressed by Chris for her boxcover shoot and playing around a little. There’s also a couple minutes of outtakes, which is basically just close-up shots. It’s an okay featurette, but nothing overly special.

Currently, many of 3rd Degree’s DVDs can be found online for between about $16 and $25 with quite a few stores offering them for about $20. If you’re a fan of POV porn, this one’s probably well worth the money, but others might want to rent it first to see if it’s your style or not. The technical aspects are very good, and there’s some nice effort put into the extras to help round out the DVD.

Note to 3rd Degree: I know you haven’t been around long, but it’s nice to see a few improvements in your DVDs even in the short time you’ve been around. Please add a few more chapter breaks, as they’re the main thing your movies are lacking.
