Initial Expectations: Van Styles has put out some darn hot movies, and I can't remember the last time I've seen a cast this impressive! I'm going into this one with darn high expectations!

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced, but there are a few very minor background noises. The video is also nicely done. It has some very nice use of lighting and just a hint of pixelation. There's a little camera movement here and there, but overall it comes off quite nice.

Music: There's a little music early in the movie, but that's it.

Menus: The main menu starts out nicely with some decent animation and a dark style. The chapter menu shows some good care, and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and the name of the lady in it. There's also a “Select a Star” option to let you choose a scene based on a cast photo and the names of the girls where you can choose where you want to go in the scene sexually.

The Feature

With A List, Van Styles focuses on some of what he captures best. There's no interracial action here, which is a bit of a surprise with Styles, but he focuses on anal action with a group of some of the industry's top tier of female talent. Each scene starts out with a little tease or setup, and then moves into some hot action and a nice focus on the ass.

Scene 1 – Tiffany Rayne and Mark Ashley

He moves around nicely to mix up the angles, and I don't think there was a single time when I wanted a different angle. Scene 2 – Brooke Haven and Jerry

Scene 3 – Dana Vespoli and Mark Ashley

As usual Flower looks like she's having a very fun time throughout the entire scene, and that feeling seems to be contagious as Mark Wood seems unable to hold back some big smiles as well. This is the hardest scene in the movie with all its double penetration action, and it ends the movie on a high note.

A List is a great anal fuck flick. There isn't a bad scene in it, and Van Styles does a very nice job of mixing things up just enough that the scenes never feel like they're just repeating themselves with different people. The locations change, the moods change, and the openings all change, which really works to the movie's advantage. As for the scenes themselves, every one of them was very hot with Tia Sweet's scene being the only one that didn't quite match up for the simple reason that I'm not a big barely legal fan and that was a big part of her scene. The only other complaint I can have at all about this one is that there are a few camera shakes, but that's to be expected as well when the entire movie appears to be shot by hand with only one cameraman. For appearing to be the only one behind the camera, Van Styles does a fantastic job mixing up camera angles and knowing how he wants to move around. There's a lot of movies shot like this where it seems like the cameraman doesn't quite now what shot he wants when, but with Van he seems to know just what he wants the camera to be capturing every moment of the movie. A List is one heck of a hot anal movie, and a movie that definitely deserves to be checked out by anybody who's the slightest bit interested in it.

Currently, many of Hustler’s DVDs can be found online for between about $16 and $25 with stores offering it everywhere in between. Although there's virtually no effort put into the extras here, this one's well worth the money. The technical aspects show some nice care and there's plenty of very well done anal action with no shortage of heat. This is one heck of a great movie on a DVD that could have used just a little more effort.

Note to Hustler: It's great to see you going with the widescreen format, but if you're going to use it please give it the anamorphic transfer it deserves. Also, a few decent extras would have been really nice here.
