1 Lucky Fuck 3 Review

Damn, I hate having to do this, but for a second time in a few weeks I have to say the following about a PXP title:

DO NOT BUY THIS DVD!!

Why? Well, let's just call it a pretty severe authoring problem. The picture throughout the entire feature is shown in a 16:9 ratio. What this means is that the picture is in a kind of "false widescreen" where the image is literally squashed down in the top and bottom of the screen. The result is a severely distorted picture, where all the action is stretched across the screen. Nope, it's not a problem with my player, since I tried it on 3 seperate players, and the Title screen and BTS are in the normal ratio, but put on the feature and it's all messed up.

Now I did scan through the actual content, and it kinda looked okay, and the facials all looked big and goopy, but the damn thing is unwatchable. I suppose you could mess around with the settings on your DVD player to adjust it before watching this title, and then change it back afterwards, or if you wanted to watch the extras or BTS (which are in a correct 4:3 format), but it's just one of an endless stream of porn discs, so why bother? Watch just about anything else instead and you get the same thing without worrying about messing around with your DVD player settings before and afterwards.

In closing, just don't buy this. Unless this title gets remastered, and as this is a churned out PXP product I can't see that ever happening, it's faulty, it's broken, it's simply a waste of time. An unforgivably poor QA job on PXP's part here to not pick this up before sending it out.

What's worse is that since this is the second time I've come across this in their recent titles, (the other being Sperm Splattered 2) and I only see a few of the many they release, that it could be an issue over a whole series of discs produced by PXP. This in turn makes me very wary about their current product, considering they either don't check their discs before sending them out or they think so little of the consumer as to send them out anyway. Hopefully it's not an issue with (m)any other titles besides these two.

I hate having to write a review like this, but I'd rather write a warning than have people waste their money on what is really just faulty product.
