I became interested in the film industry when I was teenager in the 1970s. I went to a few hundred films with one of my best buddies, my father. On one such occasion, we went to a double feature of Last Tango In Paris and Inserts, which eventually led to acquiring and watching some xxx titles on a top-loader VHS player purchased in the early 1980s. About 10-15 years later, I picked up a few more xxx titles on VHS then started looking for interesting adult features to watch. I gravitated towards films directed by Paul Thomas, James Avalon, Kris Kramski and Andrew Blake. With the advent of the DVD, I became disillusioned with most features, dabbled in gonzo, then came full circle: I returned to watching more xxx titles from the 1970s and early 1980s. So today, I am always on the look out for an excellent feature from that "classic" xxx period plus an occasional new adult feature will find its way into my DVD player. read more...

    ^^^---In the early '80s, my dad paid a buddy at work to make him VHS tapes with 6 hours of porn flicks for his top loading VCR. One of the best tapes featured Debbie Does Dallas, Sex Boat, Babylon Pink and October Silk and maybe one other. His buddy would also stick "Shows" on the end of these tapes: his own VHS recordings of two locals fucking. Maybe one of the "Shows" was on the end of the tape mentioned above. T0MBOne

    For the past 20 years or so, I would spend as much as $10 per DVD title. Maybe more if it was for something I really wanted. During the pandemic years, I quit going to the local shop but in early 2020, I scored a huge lot of "previously viewed" discs for $5 each there. Last year, I decided to spend my money with Vinegar Syndrome titles that were in that $10 range from their Black Friday sale. This year, I'm still watching all this stuff... tb

    ^^^---All of those drinks that you DO NOT intake are a big reason for the healthy path you are presently on. Red wine is about it for me in terms of alcohol consumption and these days that is limited. I've cut out soft drinks, never liked coffee, ho-hum to tea. So, I am mostly drinking water especially when I am eating too much during the holidays or whatever. I would also recommend a limited amount of fruit juice especially orange juice in the morning just to get a decent daily dose of vitamin C. Some milk in a bowl of cereal is also in my daily routine and I recommend that. Simple changes can make a huge a difference. tb

    Actually, IDing the performers is half the battle. If Keli Richards was indeed in the movie, look her up on iafd.com and click on the scene pairings function. Looks like she did a bunch of flicks with Marc Wallice and also Tom Byron. If a movie title catches your eye, click on it then scroll down to see if Keli performs in a FFM scene. Good luck! tb

    I was in high school and college during the classic porn era so short scenes do not bother me. A good scene is a good scene regardless of length. About 10 years ago, I reviewed Manuel's Fucking French Vacation (2011, Evil Angel) with long POV scenes amounting to a 2-disc set with a running time of 4 1/2 hours. The first scene with Lou Charmelle that ran 55 minutes was terrific. The second scene with Liza del Sierra ran 85 minutes and it was disappointing: Manuel got sloppy with his directing duties then failed to edit out the sub-par footage. The other scenes were better than Liza's scene but fell short of Lou's scene. So, long scenes or short scenes, there are good ones out there. If you have a bias towards one or the other the...
