Well, only one thing to do in the meantime:

- Deciding Not To Have Children? 3/14/2015 8:55:21 PM To clarify my stance, my wishlist for a better future in which all human beings have optimal chances to enjoy life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness: 1. End the Federal Reserve, the root of the global warfare/corporate hegemony/ domestic police state nightmare that is the American Empire. Yes, soapbox!!! 2. Also, repudiate the national debt. I'm not exactly in favor of the cradle-to-grave welfare state, but I would rather live under such a regime than a fascist, war-worshipping police state regime.
- Sleep problems? 3/14/2015 8:15:53 PM As I journey deeper and deeper into middle age and all the hormonal fun that it brings, I've had to up my sleep-getting game. 1. Sadly, it seems that doxylamine succinate has a host of nasty side effects for me if I use iteven semi-regularly: very vivid, unpleasant dreams and increased irritability when I'm awake. So, I mainly just keep it on hand for when I have a bad cold and need OTC medications to sleep through the night. 2. I've used
off and on for the past year, and sometimes it helps to fall asleep (or fall back asleep), sometimes it doesn't. 3. Blue-blockers. I slip these
over my eyeglasses at night. Sometimes they really seem to help me fall quickly into a sleepy state. 4. Absolutely must have white noise! I even bro...

- Are racial love preferences racist? 3/14/2015 7:48:48 PM BustdownGal wrote: Rejecting the potential for a certain race to ever enter your body is the same as rejecting the potential for a certain race to ever enter your neighborhood or your workplace. It's just a matter of degree. "I would never date a black woman." "I would never live next door to a black woman." "I would never work with a black woman." Now you see. Following this logic, anything other than bisexuality equates to hating the sex to which one is not attracted. "I would never date a woman." somehow then leads to "I would never live next door to a woman." and "I would never work with a woman." Hardly!

- Amazon position has anyone done it? 5/7/2013 8:13:28 PM Most of the positions on that site are ones I couldn't even pull off while dry-humping.
- personal, lubricant.. 5/7/2013 8:11:32 PM LOL! It's not called personal because it's for one person, it's called personal because it's for one's person! You know, as opposed to such items as WD-40 and graphite powder. I'd rather buy lube in a drugstore than a sex shop any day. At least the clerks at Rite Aid don't have "helpful" comments to make.
- Amazon position has anyone done it? 4/21/2013 6:30:52 PM I think he's referring to a position that's kind of like piledriver, but the guy is the one on his back and his dick must be the flexible, joystick kind to pull it off. I only remember that I once saw it on some website with various positions, 95% of which look extremely not fun. Anyway, no to seeing it in any films, and no to doing it in real life. That said, what Nacho movies were they? I do have a long-abiding admiration for Nacho's...agility and coordination, among other things.
- The Nonsense Thread 4/21/2013 6:14:46 PM Not much. I'm sober enough now to realize I typed "apple vinegar" instead of "apple cider vinegar". Oh well! So how you doin'?
- The Nonsense Thread 4/21/2013 5:41:29 PM Yee haw! First drunk post in almost 8 1/2 years. Funky-tasting pork + "where the hell is the apple vinegar? I can't find it anywhere!" = fuck it, I'll drink some Absolut Pears instead.
- Words/phrases that make you cringe 2/21/2013 12:07:37 PM "Brain fart" Ugh! "Squeeeeeeee!!!" Thankful that this one seems to be fading out. ::fingers crossed::
- Do women desire men the same way men desire women? 1/10/2013 8:26:41 PM Wow. I made what I thought was a pretty obvious statement, and somehow it got dragged into the middle of a very unpleasant exchange! The obvious (or so I thought) statement was that women showing extreme desire toward their male lover's body (excluding his genitals) is not often reflected in pop culture or in pornography. Now, I have enough exposure to commonly-distributed pop culture (meaning movies, television, bestselling books) and pornography (meaning professionally-produced hardcore) to feel comfortable making a fairly generalized statement. "Not often reflected" does not mean "never reflected". I do not have a lot of exposure to written erotica, soft-core pornography, and amateur pornography, so it's possible tha...
- Do women like giving Rimjobs ? 1/7/2013 11:22:55 PM I really have to be in the mood. Usually I'm not in the mood.
- Do women desire men the same way men desire women? 1/7/2013 11:21:40 PM Well, women certainly can desire men that way. Nonetheless, it is not something reflected much in either popular culture (indeed, I was genuinely surprised while watching Breaking Dawn: Part 2 by a scene where Bella was passionately kissing Edward's neck while he was lying there enjoying the sensation) or in pornography.
- Do you craft? 12/22/2012 9:03:21 PM I make good lanyards: 6-strings are my specialty, and I have taught many YMCA campers and Boy Scouts how to make them. I love doing beadwork, counted cross-stitch, and any number of paper crafts including origami, but it's hard for me to keep a proper set-up to do them very often.

Ooh, we got comped front row tickets to La Reve!!! I just read 7 books this week and told you all about them on GoodReads! We're going to Disneyland for the tenth time this year with our season passes that we can easily afford because we spend all our disposable income on our own selfish whims!!! That sounds like a kick ass life. Very well. I'll keep passing along these ideas for how to while away the offspring-free hours as they're prese...

This is a worthy use of your time and talents on this planet? I don't get it. Why are you angry at people for going to grilled cheese parties? I don't need to raise the next generation, because their parents are responsible for that. I have no responsibility for raising the next generation, because I have no kids. I have no obligation to have kids, and the L.A. freeway doesn't need more cars on it and more pollution, so I don't see why more people are necessary--the current rate of reproduction seems to be doing fine, and the last generation that overproduced yielded the boomer generation...
- Deciding Not To Have Children? 12/16/2012 4:47:35 PM When I was in my twenties and thirties, I didn't care whether or not my married peers had children or not, other than the whole "I have nieces and nephews so I kind of know what it's like to have a kid" line annoying the hell out of me. Now that I'm in my forties, I see my friends who are married with no kids posting (or hear them telling me) about all the stupid shit they fill their free time with: Woo! Here we are at a grilled-cheese sammie-making party! I'm at a steampunk costume party with my spouse! We spent lots of money on these lame costumes! We're at a magic show!
