  The dates are always right before checks are processed. So it will run at the end of the month, and on the 13th or 14th for our merchant level sellers. These are sellers who do a lot of volume, and need checks twice a month. <link> Marketplace - Low price <link>

  Unfortunately, not in the near future. The fact that we have over 1000 different sellers makes that difficult. We are in the process of setting up a site just for Canada, but don't currently have plans for other countries. We have talked with companies like International Checkout, but can't find a solution that fits our model. It's something we want to do... but it just doesn't seem possible.   EMS_Guy makes a good suggestion. It's impossible for us to take money orders because what you ordered might not be available by the time we get it. You can walk into a bank, a check cashing place, walgreens, etc. and purchase a prepaid visa. Better than a MO in my opinion.   Hey XYZ1406 Sorry for any inconvenience this caused you. The script that queries whether that option is set or not is only run twice a month.   I believe we have a pretty good &quot;shopping engine&quot; for Adult DVDs http://www.adultdvdmarketplace.com We have over 74,000 titles in our database. Each title has a unique page, and lists every seller offering it from lowest to highest. You can also filter it by used and new. I believe we have some of the lowest priced Adult DVDs available, which is why some studios won't allow their titles on our site. DK

  Hi Ray It turns out that it was not a buyer complaint. That is usually the reason accounts are deactivated. It turns out that the anti-fraud software found many accounts with the same IP addresses that you have used. Upon investigation, we found that all the IPs were AOL proxies, which means they were all valid, individual accounts. Please accept my apology for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

  That's great feedback. I agree with you both. I'm happy that I can tell you changes are coming that are going to give sellers a way to distinguish themselves, AND make it easier for all members to communicate. This is going to be a slow process considering the size of ADM. It's at the drawing board stage now, but I promise you that it is a serious effort.

  Maybe &quot;labeling&quot; sellers that drop ship isn't the way to go. Perhaps a better idea is to offer a sub-market that is limited to certain standards that are considered conducive to a quick turn around. It would be it's own side category, and wouldn't interfere with the normal operation of the site. I don't think it would take anything away from the sellers, just give the buyers that want it another avenue. Gives the sellers one too.

  Wow, there really is a need created by all this. I wasn't selling adult dvds, but the account I had was with Humboldt. I guess I got lucky, because I only used delivery confirm. These were mostly the cassette sized box going priority mail. I also sold the same product, and didn't think twice about sending another one if someone said it didn't arrive. The required sig in this situation makes perfect sense. Oh, and I'm not the CSR :) I'm just seeing if I can find ways that I think might make it perform better. Genuine buyer/seller input is important. I'll make recommendations, and then it's up to someone else if anything is done. I couldn't find anything that stated a reason for the 3/4&quot; thick rule.   Hmm.. the merchant account I used was fine with the delivery confirm. Of course this was back in 2002/2003, and I know a lot has changed since then. Back then I remember it being called delivery confirm w/ tracking. That's crazy that it wouldn't be accepted now. I can think of many times within the past year or so where I received a package and my signature was supposed to be required, yet the mailman just left it in the screen door.   That's crazy about the post office rule! I had no idea about that. I've shipped all kinds of things thinner than .75&quot; and delivery confirm tracking was only 35 cents. I guess when you pay for it, they don't care. I know something is trying to be worked out with a 3rd party solution provider so that there is a tracking # with all 1st class mail. When I hear more details, I will let you know. I agree that the entire feedback system could have a bit more functionality. Even though it's via email, you can still notify ADM of a problem, and it should be taken care of. I know seller accounts are terminated everyday for not sending DVDs.   I don't think thats quite the case, but see where you are coming from. The &quot;good&quot; sellers are generally ones doing smaller volume, and have the product actually in hand. The ones with the cheapet price usually have 15k listings or some large number like that. Reasons for non-delivery are not as heinous as you might think. Reasons are a) they were told it was in stock by their distributor, only to find out just before you that it's out of stock. b) they are a wholesaler/retailer with extras. They may actually sell a listing in the store or some other outlet just after you buy it here. When you're selling 7k DVDs a month.. it can be hard to keep track of everything in real time. The point is, bad things can happen on that scal...

  Understood. It's good to follow up on threads ;) It seems there should be some sort of designation between listings that are dropshipped, and listings that the seller actually has product on hand. If multiple people are reselling from the same place, you can never be certain of inventory status. I have a feeling this guy has good intentions, but once he has money in hand and probelms arrise... his ethics seem to malfunction. Thats typical of the average get rich quick dropshipper mentality. I agree, not a quality seller... I think seller profiles could be improved upon greatly!
