  I'd like to weigh in as a vendor. It bothers me when boxcovers are misleading, since it forces me to take a caveat emptor standing with my customers. There is no way for me to watch every dvd I sell and be able to tell my customers if it's really got what it promises, so I have to add disclaimers all over the place. Instead of posting a synopsis, I have to post it as a "Producer's Description," along with a qualifying remark that I can't be held responsible for the actual content of the dvd. As a producer, I am hoping it will give me an edge over my less scrupulous competitors. I told my dvd artist that the cover should reflect the exact contents of the dvd.

  I have specific needs, so I look around the agency websites and make a list of girls that would be good as, for instance, squirting cheerleaders. Or for next Friday's shoot, I need a latina who can be good for the cover. Oddly enough, since dumping my old business partner, I usually get my 1st choice right away, instead of taking forever to decide by committee. I call the agents and go down my list.

  I think it's easy, since the most difficult part of any writing assignment is the resolution. The toughest part is finding out where the story is going; once you know that, a story writes itself. In a porn film, you always know where you are going (or cumming, as it were.)

  Actually it's the visa that would state the occupation, if it's a work Visa, and not the passport. I had heard of Sahara Knite being denied entrance to this country as an undesirable (the customs man must have been blind,) though for all I know she was denied for another reason (maybe overstaying a visitor's visa?)

  I would agree in this sense that "whore" is a perjorative term for prostitute, which I find objectionable (especially since the working girls have provided me so much joy and asked for so little in return.) I have asked several people in the adult profession not to use that word, much like I would object to the "n" bomb.

  I don't care about titles that are gross for gross' sake, since this is for sexual gratification and many people get turned on by the sick stuff. That being said, I really get appalled by the racist titles like "Slant-Eyed Sluts." Just because we are pervs, that doesn't mean we have to be crackers, too.
