review from 11/22/2009:
"Savannah: The Lost Footage" is advertised as a "tribute" to one of the true stars in the history of adult films, Savannah. Released a bit after the 15 year anniversary of her tragic passing, this movie promises her fans a renewed look at the actress via offering up some rare footage. Sadly, these promises are largely empty, as the DVD is full not with the "4 Hours of the 'Legendary Savannah'" displayed on the front of the disc, but instead with fifteen scenes--only three of which actually feature the star. In all, the only reason that this DVD received any stars here is due to Savannah. The fact that only three of fifteen scenes include her is shameful. The claims of "4 hours" when there are barely over three is also inexcusable. The lack of a Main Menu and any type of bonuses is unfortunate, as well. I would avoid this disc unless you are the most avid Savannah fan imaginable and have to have everything that she has done. Indeed, Savannah deserves much better than this. [read the full review]

review from 2/8/2008:
This is a horrible movie. It's downright dumb with boring sex. The technical aspects are weak and there's no real care put into the extras. If you're given a choice between watching this movie and being punched in the gut, even if you haven't been working on your abs the punch to the gut is going to be less painful. The Little Details Running Time: 89 min. Production Date: 1988 Director: John Stagliano Cast: Fallon (listed here as Robin Lee), Gail Force, Jeannie Pepper, Tiffany Storm, Valentina, F. M. Bradlee, Jack Baker, Randy West, and Ray Victory The Short Story Initial Expectations: I know it's early Stagliano without the freedom he had on his own, but I still can't help but look forward to this one! Initial Reaction: It's simple, but fun. Who Should Watch It : Fans of interracial action Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting politically correct porn The Technical Stuff Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are a bit weak, which isn't a surprise for a movie that's nearly twenty years old. The audio is surprisingly well balanced, and has very few background noises to interfere with it. The video, however, is very dated. It has a touch of grain, and although it did interfere with the movie a couple times for me it was never a major problem. [read the full review]

review from 10/28/2001:
Army Brat, part of the Brat series from Vivid, is a fun amusing movie from the 80's. What makes this movie so fun is that the cast, themselves, seems to be having a good time which compensates for the silly plot. The plot is enough to keep the film going, but not enough that you have to worry about getting dragged down by it. The acting is incredibly cheesy but fun to watch. Vivid has done a decent job with their DVD release of Army Brat. [read the full review]
