Romeo and Juliet is one heck of a Parody, with some good solid sex, excellent for couples and not bad for the other audience, Dream Zone makes a good effort keeping some important parts of the dialogues there, which is pretty cool, Chanel makes a Great Juliet, Romeo (Rocco Reed) is not bad either, Anthony does a good job as always, and if you're a fan of Andy San Dimas you already know what I'm talking about, if you don't this is a good time to check her out. "Romeo and Juliet" by Lee Roy Meyers puts a modern--and erotic--spin on the William Shakespeare classic of the same title in this very good, couples-friendly release from DreamZone Entertainment. Interestingly, the Montagues and the Capulets both deal in automotives in this production--with the former's garage being the backdrop for some of the key plot sequences in the film. Romeo is played by Rocco Reed, Juliet by Chanel Preston, and Tybalt by Anthony Rosano...all of whom are strong on the acting end of things. Not only are the main characters represented well, but the storyline also features many of the key elements found in the original play, linked together via a unique blend of modern-day English and lines from Shakespeare's work. While officially deemed a "parody", this is really quite the serious and romantic tragedy--much like the source material--and not so much of a comedy. Of course, the sex is hot...so no worries! This is a fun little porno mockumentrary. The cast plays things up nicely and the story is fun and well acted. Sexually the movie is nicely consistent, and there's good care put into the technical aspects. The extras, unfortunately, are lacking and hold the release back slightly. This is a fun little flick. Time for another parody film, kids, this time the XXX version of the 80s John Hughes classic. Faye Reagan is the perfect choice in the Molly Ringwald roleand this one also features Andy San Dimas and Samantha Ryan. Samantha is acting as the principal in this one, with the detention hall being set in college, for obvious reasons. Ally Sheedy (Andy San Dimas), Anthony Michael Hall (Sonny Hicks), Emilio Estevez (Levi Cash) and especially Judd Nelson (Chad Alva) are represented well. The movie starts with Samantha berating the kids for being losers. Theres some good dialogue here which will make you think about the real version (at least until the clothes start flying off). Faye is flirting with Chad when Sonny daydreams about the time he lost his virginity. Syren Sexton Sonny and Syren are in Niagara Falls and Syren is anxious to get it on. Here we have a porn take on the cult classic from the 1990's. I'll leave it up to the rabid fan base of this movie to decide how close in spirit they got but from watching the movie recently I'd say they came pretty close to nailing it, definitely a spare if not a strike! Kimberly Kane as Maude Lebowski and Tom Byron as the Dude had the hardest roles and I think they did great. Peter Otool a nonsex actor had the Walter role made famous by John Goodman and he too gets the essence of the character down pretty good in the lines and the outfit. Certainly worth a look for fans of the movie. [read the full review]
