John Leslie 4 on 1 review summaries:
T0MBOne's
John Leslie Dupre AKA John Leslie acted in many a classic xxx production from the '70s and '80s. By the late '80s, Mr. Leslie had worked with most of the great porn directors and decided to direct films of his own. He rounded up Jack Remy as director of photography, Bill Heid for jazzy or bluesy music then John directed, wrote or co-wrote and edited a great many films for VCA from 1987 through 1994. Four films from this period appear on JOHN LESLIE 4 ON 1 (2009, VCA Classics-LFP Video Group) including THE CATWOMAN from 1988, THE CHAMELEON from 1989, STRANGE CURVES from 1990 and ANGELS from 1992. At nearly 6 hours, this collection scores well with three really solid productions with ANGELS being the only misfire from the bunch. Standard frame. [read the full review]

Outlaw, The review summaries:

Tori Welles is a badass, fuck-the-world (literally) type of gal in the "The Outlaw", a good 1989 production from Caballero / Vidco and director F.J. Lincoln. Tori's favorite pastime in this one is to ride around on her motorcycle (with her guys)...fucking, sucking, and wreaking havoc wherever she goes. Indeed, she gets it on with her dudes on an old woman's front lawn and then demands a tip from her. She fucks her good friend's wife in his living room after breaking into his house. She forces a young couple whom she stumbles upon to have sex in front of her and the gang for their entertainment. And, she even laughs it off when one of her "friends" is hit by a truck and turned into road-pizza. She is most certainly an ass-hole in this release...but she's a hot ass-hole...so it's pretty much all okay. [read the full review]

They always say that the crazy ones are the most fun, and this is no doubt the case for Tori Welles, who plays the part of a woman with multiple personalities...all but one of which is a total sex fiend. Indeed, Welles'' character transforms from one identity (and outward appearance) to another, as she compulsively fucks her way through what seems like half the town...apparently enjoying every minute of it. Such is the case in "The Chameleon", an exceptional 1989 release from director John Leslie and VCA. [read the full review]

Corey Thomas'
John Leslie's "The Chameleon", which many, including this reviewer, consider his masterpiece, begins with a soothing blues ditty by Bill Reid as the credits go up. We then open with a woman named Diana (Tori Welles) talking to her psychiatrist (Richard Pacheco). It appears that she has sexual problems, although they're not what you would probably imagine. It turns out that Diana's a "chameleon". If you don't know what I mean, just read ahead and you soon will. We then cut into a sizzling sex scene with a woman (April West) taking on two guys (Scott Irish, Axel Horn). After they are finished, the woman goes to the bathroom, where she turns into Diana! She has the ability to change her identities, which she takes to her full advantage. This is much to the chagrin of her boyfriend Marc (Tom Byron), for whom sex is a much more meaningful experience. The ChameleonAn Official Selection of the Goldmember Masterpiece Collection What is the Masterpiece Collection? I suppose it is my personal pornography Hall of Fame. It is only for those select films that I consider to be at the very pinnacle of the industry. This is an honor reserved only for films that I believe will stand the test of time. The Chameleon - The Details Studio - VCA Director - John Leslie Female Cast - Tori Welles, Victoria Paris, Selena Steele, Debi Diamond, April West, Rose, Pamela, Lynn Francis Male Cast - Peter North, Tom Byron, Buck Adams, Joey Silvera, Axel Horn, Scott Irish, Ray Victory Running Time - 1 hours 15min (approx) Overall Impression This is a true classic! This 1989 film stands the test of time better than I would have ever imagined considering the last time I viewed this masterpiece was over a decade ago. Sure this is a rather bare bones transfer from video to DVD, but the feature is just so well done that I could not resist giving this walk down memory lane a five star score. This film may very well be Tori's best. [read the full review]
