One only needs to look at the cast of Vivid’s Spread Eagle to know it’s a keeper. Do I really need to say anymore than it’s got Asa Akira, Katie St. Ives, Lexi Belle, Lily Labeau, and Tanya Tate all in one release? With a run time of about 90 minutes, this “The Crow” inspired release will sure to please fans of Superhero movies, parodies, and least we forget, the girls themselves. Production values for this are top notch and we also have a style of scene fade out that we normally don’t get in porn, the pull back that ends in the scene being framed into a comic book. It’s quite nice actually.

"Spread Eagle" is an exceptional and comical feature from B. Skow (the director), David Stanley (the writer), and Vivid that features Tommy Gunn as a superhero known as Spread Eagle. Tommy becomes Spread Eagle after a criminal shoots him and his girlfriend (Asa Akira) in an alleyway after an attempted rape gone awry. Fortunately for Tommy, an eagle descends from the sky and not only saves him but also gives him the ability to grow claws, a beak, and wings. With this, Tommy is able to fly, and he also gains a head-splattering shriek that he can use to finish off his opponents. One nice thing about this production is that its storyline--which is strong for an adult film--doesn't take itself too seriously. For instance, Tommy's beak squeaks when it's pushed or bumps up against something, and a lot of the goings-on appear to intentionally parody the whole superhero genre. Also very fortunate--and of utmost importance--for this release is the top-notch cast and the white-hot sex.
