In listening to the directors audio commentary one learns that this is based on a true story. But its a true story that has its conclusion in this film. Cameron Slater, the star of the film, apparently lost his girl friend when she went away to college. So Cameron now has second thoughts about being in one of Clarkes videos and getting it on with a guy. Cameronwho we see on the coveris cute. Theres no other word for it. He defines the word cute. The film has a bit of a prologue with Cameron surfing (yes, they do surf on the east coast). He then decides to go up to his girlfriends college and catches her kissing another boy. Cameron then heads off to the Big Apple. Atop the Empire State Building, he looks through one of the viewers and spies two cuties making out somewhere in the city.
