"Contract Star" is a very good (strong 4-star), 2004 comedy from Digitial Playground and Robby D that still holds up well by today's standards. Bordering on the edge of tongue-in-cheek political incorrectness, Evan Stone and Eric Masterson play the parts of "Mexicano" workers in the packaging area of an adult film company. Their boss (Tommy Gunn) is in the market for a new contract star, and they decide to team up to try to claim the $5000 reward for finding one. What ensues is a comical and clever fuck-flick that playfully pokes fun at various stereotypes and that ultimately puts stress on Evan's and Eric's friendship...all before working out for the best in the end. Of course, the fucking is smokin' hot all the way along, as well...so no worries in that regard.

Im goign in with pretty high expectations. Initial Reaction: Its a lot of fun and has some darn hot sex as well. Who Should Watch It : Anybody wanting a few laughs with their sex Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting nastier sex The Technical Stuff Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are very well done. The audio is clear and well balanced in the non-sex scenes. In the sex scenes its heavily dominated by the music, but you can often hear the performers as well. The video is very well done. To start with, its presented in anamorphic widescreen and was shot in HD. Theres barely any grain, and the entire movie is extremely well lit. This is a very nice looking and sounding movie.

Introduction/Synopsis Robby D.'s Contract Star tells the story of Julio and Chewie (respectively Evan Stone and Eric Masterson), two Mexican cousins working as inventory clerks at an adult film production company. In hearing the news that the company's biggest earning contract star has just left and that the company is paying $5,000 to whoever can find her replacement, Julio and Chewie proposition everyone from Julio's girlfriend Maruca (played by Jesse Jane) to a random stripper in order to get the money. What I liked Like most of Digital Playground's DVDs, Contract Star has the works: hot men and women fucking each other's brains out, exceptional video and audio quality, and a Behind the Scenes special feature that is extremely funny (just hearing Jesse Jane elicit the most obnoxious high pitched laugh after she spits on Tommy Gunn's hand is worth at least renting this DVD). In addition to these assets, Contract Star features a hilarious script written by Joey Pulgadas which heavily stereotypes American minorities, although in a playful manner.
