Great classic porn with Nikita, Juli Ashton, and a stunning scene with Chloe.

"A Gay Man's Take on Straight Porn" Watching this was pure bliss (sorry for the pun) The Movie: This has to be one of the best adult movies I've seen in a while. This is not just a porno. You cannot watch this and fast forward through the dialogue. You would miss SO much! The characters and the plot are extremely well written, and very involving. You have three couples: Carla and Justin, Gwen and Eddie, and Max and Nikita. Carla can't stop cheating on Justin, and Justin can sense that something is wrong. Gwen can't stand Eddie because he lies to her, but he won't agree to a divorce. Max is an asshole, plain and simple, and Nikita wants to find a way to get back at him. Okay, this sounds like a basic porno... it's not. This movie is very dark, and very depressing. No one gets a real happy ending, and the sex, in most cases, is not meant to be romantic. Actually, with the exception of the third scene, all the scenes are rooted more in pain (not physical, but emotional) than in romance.

Initial Reaction: Wow. Bliss has one of the best scripts Ive seen in an adult film, an amazingly talented cast working with it, and great sex. If that isnt enough, VCA has given it a great transfer and a lot of extras. Audio /Video Quality: Both are great. Theres very little pixelation and the sound balances out very well. Music: Theres almost no music to Bliss and it works great. The few moments with music have it so far in the background that its barely noticeable. Overview Bliss is a prime example of how close a porn can be to mainstreamwith a soap opera twist. Juli Ashton is our main character who is not happy and satisfied with her marriage. She wants it to work, but cant help straying in her search for sexual satisfaction. Her best friend is Tina Tyler who has some marital problems of her own. While Juli feels remorse for her actions and loves her husband, Tina is icy cold to her husband for his unfaithfulness. Both Juli and Tina play their parts perfectly. Tina seemed to really enjoy this bitchy character she played it so well. I dont want to give too much of the movie away, so I wont go into too much detail with the scenes. There is a lot of dialog in this movie and its done so well. However, the camera angles are what really struck me. Antonio used some subtle, yet brilliant shots (this may be a guy thing!). For instance, theres a dialog scene in a restaurant, but in the foreground of the shot is another table with a plate of french fries. I know people are thinking so what? Big deal!!, but its kind of artsy.
