Review brief: Expectations I can take or leave cream pie movies. I mean, internal cum shots are great in real life. But their value in porn is shaky. They don't film well and, in my opinion, they aren't nearly as sexy as a good shot to the mouth, preferably followed by swallowing. With all of that said, I'm still really looking forward to this one. Why? Because the girls just look so hot on the cover. Let's see if the DVD can deliver. Capsule Review I am torn by this release. On the one hand, it is definitely one of Alex's best efforts. The girls are all hot. The attire is attractive. The tease is wonderful. The sex is hot. So what's the problem? Review brief: Expectations Here we find a brand new series from DVSX, so I have nothing to really go on. The studio has put out some strong releases in the past, so that is promising. Apparently the premise of the series is to visit different locales and film the talent. Capsule Review This is a reasonably good release. It is a bit rougher (technically) than many of the DVSX releases that I am accustomed with. The wardrobe is plainer and the sets are spartan. This is anti-glamour porn, a genre that I generally find boring, but it is quite palatable in this release. One serious flaw is the lack of anal in several of the scenes, but that is really the only complaint I have with this release. Technical As I mentioned above, the technicals here are a little on the rougher side. Think typical Le Castel type quality...

Review brief: Expectations While DVSX is definitely one of my favorite studios, this has been one of their weaker series. Hopefully this installment can change that. Capsule Review This series continues to struggle a bit, those this is an improvement over some of the past efforts. The focus on grown women trying to dress as pre-pubescents is not as overwhelming in this volume, though it still shows its ugly face. Review brief: Expectations I really like DVSX as a studio... they tend to put out some great releases. Especially when Bryan Xin and Alan Ladd enter the scene. However, big tit movies aren't generally my favs, since I tend to like girls with a slight build. So it will be interesting to see which way my feelings go on this release. Capsule Review This release is like two different DVDs glued together. The first 4 scenes are extremely good, and almost manage to turn me into a maven of the genre. However, the last 2 scenes realize my fears and feature girls that are far too overweight to be attractive to me. Fans of heavier girls should adjust my ratings accordingly. Technical Per Xin's usual standards, the video is sharp, the audio is clear, the lighting is bright and the mastering is good. Nice job! Review brief: Expectations I'm not sure what to expect. On the one hand, this is a DVSX release and those have been very strong as a group. On the other hand, this is a casting vid and my experience with those has been less than stellar. Guess we'll watch and see. Capsule Review Boy was I off base! I thought this was a casting vid. Instead, it is a movie about auditioning porn stars. This is almost a feature. Anyway, the editing in this flic is suspect and gets in the way on more than one occasion. I found myself losing interest as this flic stumbles from scene to scene. What's more, the premise is very shaky at best. Very disappointing. Technical The technicals are generally good, however the lighting loses consistency in one of the scenes. The wardrobes and sets are fair. This upstart studio has come on board very quickly and delivered some of the strongest releases that I have had the opportunity to watch this year. Review brief: Expectations DVSX has been the hottest new company of the last year (and that includes RLD), and volume 1 of this series was great. I can't wait to watch this one. Capsule Review Alex Ladd is quickly becoming one of my favorite directors. He has a no bullshit approach that is elegant in its simplicity. His scenes generally look very attractive, and when he uses the right girls his movies are right up there with the best. Unfortunately, two of the girls here really don't pass muster. Review brief: Expectations Well, considering how good the last few DVSX releases have been, I am definitely looking forward to this one. Let's hope that they can keep the string alive! Capsule Review This is a good movie with some standout scenes, particularly the closer. It is not uniformly strong as some of the DVSX releases have been, but it is worth checking out if you enjoy interracial titles. Technical The technicals vary from outstanding to very good. There is some inconsistency in the lighting and particular difficulty with the indoor scenes. But it is certainly acceptable. Review brief: Expectations DVSX has come on the scene like a whirlwind and they have really packed a punch. I like the first volume of this series and I'm really looking forward to this one. Capsule Review This is a great gonzo flic. The content is stronger than the first volume, and that's saying something. Unfortunately, there is a nasty technical glitch... Technical While the video work is clear and crisp, the MPEG encoding seems to really show some problems. Most of these display themselves as artifacting, particularly around sharp constrast lines (a known problem with MPEG, but particularly bad in this release). The result is that the first scene (and it is HOT) is plagued with terrible artifacting around Katie's legs since she wears those fishnet stockings. This is really too bad. The audio is fine. Review brief: Expectations DVSX discs just seem to keep getting better. I'm really looking forward to this one. Capsule Review It's not bad, but it is definitely not up to the level of Double Parked. The girls are not as pretty, the technicals are not as good, and the sex is not as steamy. But with all of that said, this is still a solid release. Technical The technical aspects of this disc are not bad, but it looks as though DVSX is overcompressing their video streams. This results in some nasty pixelization in some scenes, especially when there is rapidly changing video. This is the first disc of DVSX's where I have seen this problem. Director Constance Le Extras Behind the scenes, bonus scenes, photo gallery Target Audience Barely legal fans Scene Review Scene 1 - Gauge Gauge plays a roller skating teenybopper in this scene. She wears the striped top and denim shorts featured on the disc cover. I have never been a huge Gauge fan, and this scene does nothing to change my opinion. She gives a lackluster performance and looks ok at best.

Review brief: Expectations This is the third DVD I am watching from this fledgling company. The two I have already reviewed were both surprisingly strong releases. Therefore I am really looking forward to this one, especially since the theme is right up my alley - Double Penetrations. Capsule Review Wow! In just three releases this studio has really come into their own. This release is as strong as most of the Red Light District DVDs I've reviewed, and almost as good as Anabolic. I will no longer refer to DVSX as a startup company... they are now a force to be reckoned with! Technical As in the previous two DVSX releases, the audio, video, mastering and lighting are very strong. The menus are professional and attractive. The sets are good and the wardrobe is attractive, as is the makeup. Review brief: Expectations I have mixed emotions about this release. On the one hand, I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of DVSX releases so far. This makes me look forward to this title. On the other hand, barely legal titles tend to scare me, since there is nothing as repulsive to me as sex with a little girl. Capsule Review I am very happy with this release! The technical merits of DVSX discs continue to shine. And the upshot of this disc is that some very good looking, legal girls who look old enough to want to fuck, do a very good job of doing exactly that! Nice work DVSX. Technical As with the last two DVSX discs I reviewed, this studio is doing a great job of creating quality porn DVDs. Lighting, video and audio are all very good.
