SCENE BREAKDOWN

1) ALEXIS AMORE & JEAN VALJEAN

This one is no exception, with a touch of goth / lite-fetish thrown in as the thematic drive. Though the sense of danger & excitement associated with bondage is often conspicuously absent, photography is the main problem here. Dream-like reds & blues are the colours of choice, but the picture quality is not hi-def enough to give it justice, and the resulting effect is sometimes smeared & detrimental to details. Add to this competent but also forgettable performances, especially by lead Alexis, and "Zrotique" ends up a vignette that could have been, but ultimately fails. The level of eye candy is still high enough to justify a rental, but not more.
