YOUNG MEN ON THE PLEASURE TRAIL is also found on some sites as simply PLEASURE TRAIL.

Three twosomes take their woodies into the woods while a final duo decides it’s better to save the exertion of walking and just stay home and fuck.

The first twosome is a handsome one with two blonds, Sandy Sloane and Scott Davis. It is a beautiful location they choose—beside a burbling brook. There’ no foreplay, we just suddenly find Sandy kneeling and sucking on Scott’s big one. It would be quite an idyllic scène it weren’t for the fact that the editing doesn’t stop long enough for us to appreciate it. Again, with no preparation, we find Scott’s cock pumping away in Sandy’s ass as the editor’s frenzied dance continues. I swear I have never seen such rapid editing since the shower scene in Hitchcock’s Psycho. Here were beautiful men in a beautiful setting but I was unable to get involved in any way because of being constantly thrown off balance. Sandy spews semen into the stream; Scott spews on Sandy.

After viewing a bit of scenic splendor we find cute Dean O’Connor and equally cute Fernando Sanchez on a seemingly unending trek to their place of execution. Unfortunately these beauties and their suck-and-fuck are accompanied by an atrocious piece of music that the studio has used before. It sounds like an anguished Indian wailing the loss of his demon lover: Aye uh, Aye uh, Aye oh. It’s hard to concentrate on these youngsters when the singer sounds to be in such pain. They spread a blanket, Nando goes down on Dean’s dick, and I go down on the mute button. When Dean’ starts in on Fernando’s shaved cock, I check to see if the howling has ceased. Aye uh, Aye uh, Aye ya oh wow. I seem to recall in all this caterwauling that Nando gets his little butt pounded, but I may be wrong.

The third threesome consists of Corky Adams (or as he is called here Sean Young) and the director, Sam Dixon. Corky/Sean is one of the hottest little twinks in the business so it’s no wonder the director wanted to do the scene with him. It’s a sweet scene and any scene with Corky is worth watching, but if the director wants to come out from behind the camera, he might want to do a bit of gym work and tone up some. Personally, I found his softness rather endearing.

For the final scene, studly Alex Wilcox is paired with Emilio Sands, an adorable youngster who could cure impotence. As I mentioned before, they decide to forego hiking and just get at it. These guys really perform well together and it’s the only scene in which the performers give the impression that they are doing this for more than just the money. Finally, too, the editor has calmed down. Alex is a big boy and Emilio seems delighted to take that cock in all positions. I have also never seen Alex look this happy in a scene. (In the “Behind the Scenes” section we learn the facts behind this scene. The intended scene was another woodland scene by the brook with Alex and Emilio that is included as a bonus scene and is dubbed the “lost scene”. This scene was confiscated by the police who arrested the actors and all involved for sodomy—a law that was no longer on the California books. After a horrible experience and hefty lawyer fees and fines, all were just charged with a misdemeanor and the film returned. It was used earlier in BIG BROTHER’S WATCHING and now finds itself back here in the bonus section as “The Lost Scene”. The irony is that the last minute substitution of the bedroom scene is hotter than any of the regular scenes and hotter still than the scene it replaced. The vicious homophobia of the LAPD works in mysterious ways.)

Other extras in addition to the “lost scene” and the “Behind the scenes” story include a nice photo gallery with solo shots of all the performers except Sam and Alex. Both of them appear in the action shots, of course. There is a CUM SHOT review and yes, indeedy, Dean did pummel Nando in scene two. The usual scene entries and trailers complete the extras.

Due to the anguish and mistreatment the cast and crew suffered during the filming, I wish I could give unqualified praise to the production, but the truth is it’s only better than average. I still can’t get over the fact that the emergency replacement scene with Alex and Emilio is the best thing here. Che strano.
