Initial Expectations: I haven’t seen anything from Harmony, but with Evil Angel distributing them I can’t help but have high expectations.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are very well done. The audio is clear and well balanced, and although the locations made me think echoing would be a problem I don’t think I heard a single one. The video is very nicely done, and best of all, presented in anamorphic widescreen. There’s just a hint of grain, which seems perfect to give the feature a slightly more artistic feeling. It’s nicely lit, and although there are a few fast pants and zooms, they never really interfere with the action.

Menus: The main menu is extremely basic, and just gives a few choices along with a still picture. The chapter menu is just as basic, and lets you choose a scene based on a still photo and a scene number. Neither menu is at all impressive.

The Feature

Apparently Jenaveve Jolie and Teena Fine have been sent to London in the hopes that they’ll be able to learn something. They’re sent to a school where Mick Blue seems to be in charge, and seem to learn as much wandering around the school as with him.

There was a part of me that wasn’t overly interested in this one when I popped it in just because I’m not normally much of a fan of barely legal girls. They often seem overly thin and not too in touch with their sexuality, which just doesn’t do a lot for me. That part of me didn’t have a lot to say throughout the movie other than “I’m sorry, please give me more!”. Carmelita quickly started this one off on a high note for me with the maid fantasy before Sharka sealed the deal letting Mick train her ass with a few toys. It kept right on going with four more scenes that seemed to mix a touch of elegance with nastiness, which I just loved. There’s a touch of discipline in many of the scenes, and it nicely ranges in magnitude from scene to scene with Alicia’s scene being the strongest. Although Jenaveve and Teena lead the female cast, I think Mick deserves just as much credit for making the movie work. He’s in at least three of the scenes, and almost always has great chemistry with the girls while putting out plenty of energy. He does a really great job as the bum, and never disappoints for a single moment in the movie. As for complaints, well, I can’t say that I have a major one. There’s a fair amount of camera mugging in some of the scenes, but that seems to be some of Gazzman’s style. Camera mugging can sometimes work for me, and although it did some of the time it wasn’t a lot of the time. For my first experience with Harmony, Young Harlots in London made a very good first impression.

Currently, most of Evil Angel’s DVDs can be found online for between about $18 and $30, with a few stores offering them in the $20 range. At the low end, I’d definitely recommend this one. There’s virtually nothing for extras, but the sex is very hot and the movie’s very nicely presented in anamorphic widescreen. This would be a really great release with a few extras, but even as it is it’s well worth checking out.
