The Abridged Version: During the first scene of Young, Fresh and Ripe 1, director Corey Jordan tells new girl Summer Sweet that he is out to make this new young line one of the nastiest, hardcore lines out there. That is a high level to shoot for and not surprisingly Jordan fails to reach it. In fact, he does not even come close to it. Instead, he delivers an instantly forgettable piece of pornography containing marginal new faces and grievous editing and lighting errors. If this were an amateur video, it would lean toward being high end. However, it’s not, though judging from the quality of the female cast and the inexperience of the male cast one could be fooled into thinking it is. Jordan has been at this for a while now and he has yet to improve. If Video Team thinks this is going to be the new premiere young girl line they have got another thing coming to them. The sex is infrequently nasty and only one of the girls gives up her ass. In fact, the sex is not even hardcore. Most of the time, the sex is pretty slow going, bordering on sensual for the gonzo world. The only good thing I can say is that I liked the fact that in most of the scenes the guys spend extra time eating the girls out. In porn nowadays, female performers really do get the shaft in that department so it was nice to see them get their just attention for once.

The DVD: The video/audio is okay but they can’t make up for the lighting errors made on set. The menus are easy to navigate. However, the feature is designed to play instantly and if you let the main menu idle for too long it automatically starts the movie. On top of that, the chapter breaks in the feature are poorly designed. Instead of skipping through and stopping as it looks like the guy is about to cum you will skip right to after the facial. The girl will all ready have the cum on her face. Doesn’t make much sense to design it this way. Luckily, I can report that these errors were fixed in Young, Fresh, and Ripe 2.

Final Thought: Two years ago I saw one of the A-Train installments directed by Corey Jordan for Sinister Productions. There was a scene with my favorite porn star of all time in it and she was doing a double penetration. Somehow, Jordan managed to fuck it up by throwing two inexperienced male performers at her (they couldn’t even take off her bra. She had to do it for them) and doing one of the poorest editing jobs I have ever seen in porn. In the scene, one second a guy will be standing on her right as the other guy is fucking her reverse cowgirl. The next second she is still in that position but the guy getting the blowjob is now on her left. Then, later in the scene she is getting it anal in reverse cowgirl. However, in wide shots she is clearly getting fucked up the ass but when it cuts to close-ups the penetration is only vaginal. Also, the scene was set outside so there are some lighting issues. I made a point to remember that director’s name so I could avoid anything he touched, no matter who was in it. He ruined a scene starring my favorite porn star of all time. How could any other girls I like look any better? When I picked this DVD out though, I didn’t notice Corey Jordan’s name on it. I simply wanted to see Madison. I’ll never make that mistake again. He has a better editor working with him now but his technical ineptitude is still announcing its presence with a bullhorn.
