In the summer of 2003, Vince Vouyer took the actors Erik Everhard and Brian Pumper on a road trip to Prague, to make a movie that specializes in the art of double penetrations, as well as exploring the finer points of its new cousins, Double Anal and Double Vaginal. Every scene, consequently, has two men/ one woman, or three men/ one woman, or four men/ two women, and so on.

I won't give a scene by scene breakdown of all the sex action, since it would be the same anyway. Each of the five segments starts off with the guys sitting with the actress or actresses outside at a café, where there's some chitchat, then they move to a hotel stairwell or balcony to start in on some blowjobs, regular sex, anal sex, and so on. They all then move indoors to their hotel suite, for the meat of each scene – the Double Penetrations! There's the usual simple DP, with the men changing places every minute or two. About half way through each segment, there is a DAP or DVP for a brief time, then it's back to the regular DP's. Each scene ends with the men cumming on the women's faces (some cum gets swallowed, some drips down the chin). The director does a short post-game interview with the actress, and then has her say "Bye Bye!" or "Ciao from Prague!"

One of the better scenes is the fourth one with a Hungarian actress billed here as Bernadetta, who's with Erik, Brian and the Czech actor Robert Rosenberg (erroneously billed as Rosenber). She seemed to genuinely enjoy her regular DP as she smiles a lot. However, it wasn't clear to me that she knew ahead of time that she would be doing a DAP and a DVP. She's clearly in discomfort at the beginning of the DAP, though she adjusts to this after a minute or two. She's says at the end of the scene that this was the first time she ever did these two acts.

There is an amusing moment during this scene, when Erik is saying, "Wow..Damn..Wow", Robert is uttering, "She so good", and Brian is growling, "Suck on this black cock." You'd hardly know they're having sex with the same woman.

The last scene with Julie Silver is pretty good; she seemed to like what she was doing, or was able to act convincingly enough that she did. She does a DAP; it's evident that she's done this before and doesn't have a problem with it. About ¾'s of the way into the scene, Vince Vouyer hands the camera off to Everhard, so the director can join in on the sex; he even does some POV DP's, most impressive.

The strongest scene was the second one, with a petite brunette named Vanessa. She seemed rather quiet, albeit friendly, during the pre-game chitchat, but once the sex started, she came alive. She even says to the men, "Give me my DP," in a sultry voice. Erik Everhard is clearly impressed by her, and is almost screaming with delight when she is giving him a BJ. When he cums on her face, he can't help himself and blurts out some curse words, though not aimed at her or meant to be insulting.

The first scene was okay; for my taste, the two actresses Jennifer Dark and Janet Alfano were a bit too phony with their moaning and mugging for the camera. I actually enjoyed the pre-game café segment with them, Everhard and Alberto Rey, where one observes that ordering a cold drink in Prague can take forever. While Vince is telling Jennifer to lift up her skirt, the waitress happens by unexpectedly, handing a drink menu to Jennifer and starting a long discussion about beverage choices with her.

The worst scene was the third one, which garnered some controversy on the ADT message board back in Nov. 2003. This is the 4 men/ 2 women scene, with the experienced actress Tera Joy (annoyingly billed as Tera Voy) and a newcomer named Angela. This scene is heavily edited, doesn't flow well, with choppy camera work flitting about from one coupling to another. There are the expected DP's and anal, and Angela does a brief DP in the reverse piledriver position, though she doesn't look too happy about it. The scene ends with Tera sitting near Angela's face, and as each man cums on Angela, Tera kisses the other woman and licks up the cum. Surprisingly, there's not much good footage of Tera, although she is an experienced actress who loves sex and loves performing.

During the closing credits to the movie, Vince Vouyer is shown apologizing to the 4 men (Brian, Erik, Robert Rosenberg and Joachim Kessef) for the poor scene, saying that things went wrong because of the new girl Angela. Vince then says in English to Angela (as she is wiping cum out of her eyes) that she doesn't belong in porn, she should go work at McDonald's. He doesn't yell this at her, as has been said by some other viewers, and it's doubtful that she understood him, owing to her limited English.

Why did this scene go so wrong? There's some clues in the Boner Footage, which shows Vince at the casting call he held for the movie, where we watch as a Czech porn talent agent is showing him some actresses. There's about 5 minutes of Vince interviewing Angela, and he's fascinated with two things – that she's new (only been doing porn for one month) and that she has beautiful natural breasts. He doesn't pay much attention to some other facts: that she doesn't like anal, that she's never done anal in porn before, let alone doing a DP, that her English is so poor they need the talent agent to ask her all the questions, that she appears bashful, and that she's wearing a cross (maybe she's religious?). Apparently he thinks 'great tits = can do a DP'.

Sadly, this equation does not hold true. The average viewer could have predicted that the director wasn't going to get what he needed out of this actress; she's too inexperienced in porn, and too inexperienced with anal sex. Why he ever hired her when he knew he needed someone who could handle DP's, is a mystery unto itself. He might as well have taken the several thousand dollars he spent on this scene (six performers had to be paid!) and thrown the cash out his hotel window.

For those who may not know, Mr. Vouyer is has a penchant for saying less-than-kind things to actresses during their scenes (though not at the casting calls, maybe to mislead them into thinking he's a decent guy?). For instance, during the last scene, in which Julie Silver is giving him a blowjob that he's clearly enjoying, he tells her to say she's a slut. When she doesn't say it loud enough, he tells her to say it again, right into the camera. She obliges, though after the scene he does tell her that she's amazing. Likewise, at the end of Vanessa's scene, after she's done a great job, Vouyer says, "You're a real slut, aren't you?" She quietly nods her head yes.

It like the actresses who do a good job are damned for being sluts, and the ones who do poor jobs are damned for being bad at porn. There no middle ground with Mr. Vouyer. But to his credit, he doesn't hide his true feelings, by trying to sugar-coat his sentiments towards women. He doesn't have much respect for them, and he's not going to act like he does. I do give him 5 stars for honesty, though I brought down my overall rating for this title because of this insulting behavior. To be fair, there were 3-4 times that he genuinely complimented the actresses.

But then there's Brian Pumper, and his incessant, obscene insults that he spouts out to the women: Suck on that black dick, slut; Yeah, my big black dick's in your pussy, whore; you white bitch, take this cum shot in the eye. It's like he feels this is all some onerous task he has to perform, fucking white women. It's a wonder that he ever consented to go to the Czech Republic, a country full of white people. Was he unaware of this factoid before he got on the plane from LAX?

Erik Everhard does a fine job, thankfully. He's clearly a natural for the sex action, likes the women whom he's paired with, doesn't insult the women but calls them 'baby' mostly, and actually talks to them a few times during the sex, unlike the other men. He at least is watch-able, and made the movie better, in my estimation. Fortunately, he's in every scene.

The Behind-the-Scenes footage was somewhat entertaining. Erik is jokingly lamenting to Vince that he doesn't get to do a single one man/one woman scene during the entire trip. Erik says he's looking forward to getting back to the US, where he'll be heading to Burger King, maybe Wendy's, as soon as possible. Brian Pumper looks like he was suffering from either jet lag, a migraine, or PMS. I swear, this man does not smile, not ever.

There a lengthy segment showing Julie Silver getting her make-up and hair done before her scene, while a woman friend (another actress?) sits beside her with a cute poodle on her lap. Julie looks utterly blasé about this whole porn thing. Vince asks her if she has a boyfriend, and is incredulous that she doesn't have one (How can this be, Julie's got great tits, and she can do DAP's!). He tries joking with her about this no-boyfriend situation, but she looks like she would rather he not ask her about her private life.

This is the third RLD title that I've had the pleasure to view. I am convinced they should change their name to "G-R-U" for "Genitals-R-Us". Their camerawork consists almost entirely of penetration shots, interspersed with views of the actresses' faces. You the viewer get these two choices, and not much else. There is also an emphasis on not showing the male performers' faces, which makes the camera work somewhat stilted.

Even in the DVD extras photo gallery, it's simply photo still after photo still of genitalia in one DP position after another. Most other porn companies show you full body shots, or the actresses dressed in sexy clothes. Not these guys. Nonetheless, the sex scenes were well lit and in focus, and you can make out what is going on; i.e., when it's a DP, or DAP or DVP.

To sum everything up, if you want porn brought down to its most elemental form - men fucking women - with nothing to pretty it up, then XXX Road Trip 4 will do for you.
