Xcalibur: The Lords Of Sex Review

Here we have Xcalibur: The Lords Of Sex directed by Pierre Woodman. Some of you may know Pierre from the very well directed Sex City trilogy from Private. After seeing the Sex City trilogy, I was really looking forward to this new trilogy from Pierre. But after watching this film, it falls short of my initial expectations. This is a 2 disc set that has the movie on disc 1 and all of the bonus features on disc 2.

Things That I Liked:

Pierre has an outstanding job in using period authentic sets and costumes.

As with Sex City, Pierre has used great camera work to capture all of the action and sex scenes.

All of the sex scenes are top notch, with great looking Euro Girls and hot hardcore action.

Things That I Did Not Like:

I was expecting a big story based feature like Sex City, but this film is seriously lacking in the story department. There is just enough story to link the sex scenes together.

As with most foreign features, all of the audio in this feature is English dubbed. The voice overs are almost too comical to listen to, and some of the sound effects do not sync with the action.

Overall this was a great sex film if you are watching it for the sex, but is you are watching this for a story then you may be disappointed.
