Initial Expectations: I know Renee puts a lot of caring and herself into her series, which gives me a lot of hope.

Initial Reaction: Although the newbies aren’t always the best looking, it’s one of the best pro-am features I’ve seen so far and leaves me wanting more of the series.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody looking for a few fresh faces and some down and dirty fucking

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting extremely high technical aspects or the same old porn people

Audio /Video Quality: The audio and video are pretty decent, especially for a gonzo style feature. There are a few background noises here and there, but most of the time it’s clear and well balanced. The video is much the same way. There’s a little noticeable pixelation here and there as well as a few shadows that interfere with things, but no camera shake.

Music: None.

Menus: The main menu is pretty simple and includes a little clip from the movie. The chapter menu is pretty standard, letting you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a scene number. Personally, I like to see the names of the performers listed in the chapter menu, but the clips are long enough and big enough that in most cases you can tell who’s in each scene.

The Feature: Renee La Rue’s X-Rated Auditions works on a simple premise. You start with a babe, namely Renee La Rue, and then you have her introduce new people who want to fuck on camera to experienced porn stars. Sometimes you have them talk a bit, and sometimes you have them get right to the action. Regardless, you’re going to see a few people you probably haven’t before bumping uglies.

Renee starts off this installment of her X-Rated Auditions with Chloe Dior, an average looking dyed brunette with a few large tattoos and piercings who’s done a few amateur films. She brings out Cheyne Collins, who Chloe lets know right away that she wants to do an anal scene. They head over to the futon, where Cheyne starts to warm Chloe up orally with Renee helping a little here and there. Chloe moves things around pretty soon so she can suck Cheyne’s cock while Renee watches, plays with herself, and encourages both of them. Chloe’s newness to the industry shows as soon as Cheyne starts fucking her bald beaver missionary style, as she seems to look around for the camera quite a bit before getting back to concentrating on getting fucked and playing with her ass to warm herself up for her rectal reaming. Things cut quickly to Chloe getting her ass fucked doggie style followed by reverse cowgirl anal with Renee watching and helping. It’s a pretty impressive scene with some nice energy and decent chemistry. The editing is a little jumpy at times, as it sometimes jumps from one position to another completely different position without any sign of a position change coming up, but other than that it’s a very good opening scene to the feature.

Nasty girl Alana Evans joins Renee for the next scene, where they break in new guy Darren Blade after having a little fun with each other. They kiss each others’ nipples before Alana takes Renee over her knee to spank her, rim her, and finger her pussy. Alana bends over so Renee can return the favor before they strip each other down a bit more and bring in Darren, an okay looking guy with a shaved head. Sometimes they team up and sometimes they take turns, but there’s plenty of throat action for Darren from each of the girls before he starts fucking Alana missionary and Renee doggie style. It’s an extremely hot scene that should drain plenty of balls by the time it’s done.

Cindy, a brunette beauty from the Czech Republic, shows up next, and is paired with Brett Rockman. Brett tongues and fingerbangs Cindy’s clam before fucking her face. Cindy also moves around so Brett can spoon her ass before getting back to missionary and letting Brett spray his spooge all over her face. It’s a hot scene, but Brett was a little annoying at times. There was also some odd shadows which took away from the scene a little. I wasn’t too impressed with this scene early on, but the longer it went, the more I liked it. Surprisingly though, Renee didn’t join in much for this one.

Next up, Fiona Cheeks, a bleached blonde with braces and a fairly flat chest, is paired with Marty Romano. Marty starts out with a skull-fucking for each of the girls, with Fiona taking it right down to the base. Marty and Renee both warm Fiona up orally, and when Renee takes her turn Marty sneaks behind her to start fucking her. Fiona gets her turn next, taking Marty missionary, reverse cowgirl, and doggie style before he pops in her pussy. If this isn’t enough, it’s also her first time taking on a girl, which Renee finds out after jumping into the scene. This helps make the scene a bit more fun, and also helps show how much heat is there since all three of them seem equally into each other.

Finally, Renee lets Pat Myne break Midnite Isis, an okay (or as Renee puts it, exotic) looking girl with dyed hair who doesn’t look like she’s seen the sun in the last year, into the business. She seems very nervous from the start, but also appears to really like Pat’s tongue on her stubbly twat. Isis reciprocates nicely, sucking Pat’s cock as Renee watches and plays with herself while she and Pat banter and tell each other what to do back and forth. Pat finally starts fucking Isis from behind, and as he does, you see Isis’ fear and nervousness start to disappear only to be replaced with some decent animalistic lust. She moves on to ride Pat in the traditional reverse cowgirl, since I don’t think she could claim to be in an adult movie without having fucked in reverse cowgirl, before finishing up in missionary and taking Pat’s unimpressive pop on her face. It’s a surprisingly hot scene that picks up an amazing amount of steam as it goes. There was something about Isis that made me not want to like this scene from the start, but I ended up being unable to not like it.

Renee La Rue’s X-Rated Auditions 5 is a very impressive pro-am feature. The new talent is obviously into the scenes, and actually appear new rather than just kinda-new or new to this company. Even more surprising is that there’s some actual chemistry between the newbies and pros, which is almost unheard of. Then again, maybe some of that has to do with having people like Renee La Rue, Alana Evans, and Cheyne Collins initiated the newbies rather than somebody who looks like his previous job was working under a bridge and harassing the goats that tried to cross it. Renee is a great hostess with the mostess, and adds to each of the scenes with her obvious enthusiasm and some nasty talk as well as friendliness as she introduces the new talent. The biggest problem is some of the editing. You rarely see position changes and the camera tended to focus on close-ups a bit much for my tastes. Despite this, the sex came through in every scene. Renee La Rue’s X-Rated Auditions 5 is an impressive feature and has me wanting to see more of the series!

Extras: The photo gallery lasts about two and a half minutes with about seven seconds per snapshot. The main thing that sets this photo gallery apart from most others is there’s a clip from the movie running in another small panel alongside the snapshots. I’m not sure if I like this or not, since it doesn’t always pertain to the photo, but it is different. Of course, there’s also internet and company information, but the main extra is a ten minute behind the scenes featurette. Renee talks a bit about hockey and spends plenty of time in front of the camera. The camera also catches the girls throughout their day, including the photo shoot, their scenes, and what they’re doing between shoots. It’s a decent behind the scenes featurette that gives you a decent look at a lot of the cast.

Overall: Currently, most of Renee La Rue’s X-Rated Auditions can be found online for between $11 and $25 with a few stores offering them for under $15. At this price, pick this one up if you’re interested. Yes, it has a few minor problems, such as a few problems with the transfer, but it also has a lot of really hot sex. There’s also a decent behind the scenes featurette to make the DVD something a bit special.

Note to Wildlife / Renee LaRue: You’ve got the makings of a nice series here, and with a little better editing it would be even better. It’s great to see you taking the extra time and care to include a behind the scenes featurette.
