Audio /Video Quality: I’ve had more than a few problems with some of the technical aspects on Wildlife’s features, but thankfully those problems aren’t showing here. The audio is clear and well balanced with the only problem being a slight hiss in some of the background. The video is also very clear, with a very slight grain and a few minor lighting inconsistencies.

Music: None.

Menus: The menus are pretty basic. The main menu includes a clip from the feature, and the chapter menu lets you choose a scene from a clip of the scene and a chapter number.

The Feature: Renne La Rue’s X-Rated Auditions 2 works with a simple idea, that of introducing some fresh talent into the jiz biz. No, that doesn’t mean that Renee has taken to wearing tightie whities, losing her hair, and gaining a beer gut. She’s just as hot as she always has been, and keeps her same friendly and sexual attitude. Renee introduces each scene, and even joins in a bit here and there. She also brings a few of her friends along for the ride, such as when the new talent doesn’t show up or is just looking for a good time. Between the scenes there’s also a bit of behind the scenes camera work.

Pat Myne gets the pleasure of opening up this edition of Renee La Rue’s X-Rated Auditions with nice looking brunette Stevie. Tina Toy, an Oriental that’s so cute I couldn’t make it halfway through the scene before stopping and checking to see what else she has on DVD, and Ebony Sinclair, an okay looking black girl, show up late for the third scene. There’s a definite spark between Renee and Tina, and I’m guessing that if they’re using any lube it’s water based. With the heat and friction between them a petroleum based lube would have probably ignited, which probably wouldn’t have added any more screaming for Tina. After Tina has a wild orgasm, Renee steps behind the camera and watches as Tina works Ebony over with her strap-on. Sadly, the scene ends here feeling rather cut off. It feels like there’s still plenty to go between Tina and Ebony, yet the scene ends. It’s too bad, since there’s still some good heat and energy going. It really leaves me a little ticked off, since it was one of the hottest scenes in the future.

Renee takes on Steven St. Croix and Joel Lawrence in the penultimate scene since she’s supposed to audition two guys and they don’t show up. Renee starts out between them, so she can suck Joel’s schlong while Steven eats and fingers her ass and pussy. Surprisingly, Joel’s the only one that gets to fuck Renee, but Steven isn’t exactly left out with the oral treatment Renee gives him. It’s an extremely hot scene with amazing chemistry and energy.

Cassandra, a buxom and slightly bleached brunette, finishes things up with Mark Wood. It’s a hot scene with some good energy. Cassandra shows some very good potential as a newbie, and I hope I see more of her.

Every time there’s a star’s name mentioned in a title I get worried. Yes, there are a few of them that know what they’re doing behind the camera, but I always feel it’s more a case of a raging ego than anything. That said, Renee La Rue’s X-Rated Auditions 2 is darn good stuff! Renee isn’t behind the camera throughout the whole thing, but lets her presences be felt through the entire feature by being in every scene in some way. She adds something to every scene she’s in, and helps the scene between Tina Toy and Ebony Sinclair, as well as her scene between Joel Lawrence and Steven St. Croix become two of the best scenes here. Is the feature anything really special or different? No, but the scenes have very good energy and chemistry, and let you see a few people around the industry that you might have missed otherwise. It’s also one of the most consistent features I’ve seen in quite a while, with every scene being worth watching. Note to Wildlife: If the rest of your DVDs had the same technical qualities as this, I think a lot more people would be paying attention to you.
