Val Dodds is someone who should really get more scenes in my estimation. I am still very excited that Kissa Sins finally made it to Girlfriends. I’ve been following her on Twitter for years and she’s one of those ladies that seems to be liked by everyone in the industry. I would love to see her with Adriana Chechik or Alison Rey soon.

Olive Glass also has limited credits with GFF, or she did prior to this scene - having only appeared in one previous Lesbian Legal film. I like her look and her short hair. We do need variety like that at GFF. I do love that Skow gives a chance to different models that Dan hasn’t shot. I have noticed that Olive really became a favorite or Skow, not only is she in the follow up here , but she’s gotten 4 credits since so he must be happy with her work.

Even though we didn’t get much at all in the way of cunnilingus contact shots both girls brought energy; maybe that had something to do with missing out on those prized shots too, but objectively I have to say I’d expect less issues from a long time director and editor.

The scene was about 40 minutes with 15 taken up in the bath warm up. With a slower sweet style seduction I would also want a longer time to see it all develop.

I feel bad putting blame on the women in most of these cases - it’s not their choice to shoot like that or edit those angles There is also some clutter issues that are confusing. I mean I know why you have the suitcase on the bed at the beginning for the story - but please move that shit off the bed when it’s time to go. If the girls have all this bed space available and then you restrict movement and comfort by leaving a half filled suitcase right next to them - to me that’s an oversight that could be so easily avoided. Again I lay this at the feet of the director who should know this by now.

This was very important because so much of that was used to set up sensual caressing and kissing. So even if you take the maybe 8-10 minutes of that lead in you are still left with 40 for proper sex. This is a stark contrast to something like scene two - which I still think could have been great , but with 12-15 spent in the bath lead in on a 40 minute total and you are left with just 25 minutes of the main attraction.

Here the little bit of dialog was used well too. While I don’t know why the little pool bit was needed - people do shower after workouts after all, and I think it would be hot if the girls wanted each other sweaty. I would have perved out if Eva mentioned Judy’s wet workout shorts. Still, I love hearing a girl in character refer to herself as gay. I dunno if just works.

Also I mentioned it in the review but the cunnilingus (and importantly) the view of it was by far the best in this scene. While Judy didn’t get to really showcase her own eating skills I wasn’t as bothered by that as I might be. I like the idea of one girl being pleased for nearly the entirety of a scene and it’s not something done often if at all. Perhaps I was also more forgiving on that too because I know that a veteran performer like Eva will do her best to guide Judy Jolie who was doing her first shoot. Quite honestly with all the camera focus problems in the first three scenes I was relieved to not have to harp on the same gripes again.

I think this story was fine too. It’s straightforward but serves its purpose. In a way these easy setups are good for continuation because the relationships aren’t too complicated. I would actually love to see these two paired again. I had never seen Judy before last week , when she debuted on GW with Chanel Preston. That is another very well matched pairing I’d welcome as a rematch at Girlfriends .

Final Thoughts and Suggestions :

This was a decent release with a pair of exciting GFF debuts from Kissa Sins and Judy Jolie - but the often head scratching camera angles , particularly during crucial cunnilingus segments and some inconsistent zooming during tribbing felt glaring at times. The fourth scene which was my favorite, also came out with the best lighting I think but it made me consider how another technical aspect that I’ve come to take for granted in 2018 can still present problems.
