Initial Expectations: Fred Lincoln has been kind of hit or miss for me, and usually misses. I can’t say that I’m expecting too much here.

Initial Reaction: It’s okay but nothing too special.

Audio /Video Quality: The audio varies a bit throughout the feature. Early in the feature it seems like it’s kind of pushing the limits and is kind of scratchy, although it is well balanced. As the feature goes on, it seems to come out a little better, but it’s still there a little bit. The video has a slight grain to it, and quite a few shadows.

Music: The music is pretty typical and well balanced with the rest of the audio. There’s a bit of the music that’s pretty upbeat and loud, but it’s only in the final scene.

Menus: The main menu has a nice bit of animation and doesn’t give too bad of a very good first impression. The chapter menu is very simple, and only lists a small clip of the scene and a scene number.

The Feature: Monica Mayhem isn’t exactly happy with her life as a makeup artist. Some of the only enjoyment she has is knowing that in a parallel universe, she’s probably living a much better life. When she makes a birthday wish to be in one of those universes and ends up as a porno star, she learns that maybe things weren’t so bad before.

Eric Masterson starts out getting a thank you fuck after giving Monica Mayhem an expensive necklace. Monica strips down and earns her first name giving Eric the former presidential treatment. It’s pretty typical for Fred Lincoln’s features, so people familiar with his features will probably know just what to expect. The Wish is a nice diversion, but nothing that’s going to suck wankers dry.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about eighteen minutes. It’s a nicely done featurette that shows Fred Lincoln working with the cast as well as quite a few cast interviews. Lee Stone starts out the interviews, and does a nice job talking about his upcoming scene in the feature and a bit about the business in general. Bronze shows up and joins Lee in talking about their scene. Monica Mayhem answers a few questions next, and talks about coming to America, as well as Houston, Texas, getting into the industry, and some of the differences between the countries she’s lived in. T. J. Hart talks about sex in her personal and personal life, working with Fred Lincoln, and sensing the camera. Finally, Dru Berrymore talks about her family’s involvement in her professional life. Although it doesn’t show much of the actual filming of the feature, it’s a very enjoyable behind the scenes that gives you a nice feel for most of the cast as real people. It’s something that isn’t always shown, but something that I always look forward to.

Finally, there’s a bonus scene between Ava Vincent and Mickey G. from Roy Karch’s insomnia curing Stolen Moments. Normally I’d complain about not labeling the origin of this scene, but I was very unimpressed with this feature so I think it might help more if most people didn’t know where it came from . If this one interests you, check it out at the lower end. The movie’s pretty average, although it does have a couple really good sex scenes. The transfer has a few minor problems, but the extras are well done and do add a bit to the feature.
