Synopsis:
Danielle Rogers breaks up with her boyfriend to see other people, because she is not a one guy girl. Her boyfriend, a slow-witted man, doesn't get the picture so she gets two married brothers from work, who have been infatuated with her, to get him hooked up with another woman so he will leave her alone. The brothers decide to try and set him up with their wives so they can nail Rogers.

Video/Audio:
Wild One is presented in the full frame aspect ratio, 1.33:1, which is the original aspect ratio for the film. The print used for this disc is of poor quality. Although the print contains no artifacts or blemishes, the print that was used is fuzzy. The quality of the film looks worse than a VHS tape. The color levels are also washed out, resulting in a very poor looking picture. Wild One was originally filmed on video tape and not on film.

The available audio track is a 2.0 English mono track and the track sounds like everything you would expect from a low budget adult film. A flat sounding track with no attempts to clean up the audio. On the positive side, the dialog can always be heard above the music throughout the film. No other language tracks and no subtitle options are available.

Chapters/Time Code:
There are no chapters available from the main menu for Wild One. The film itself does have 10 chapter stops in it though, so you can navigate through the film once viewing it. There is a time code for this feature, so time searching is available.

Special Features:
After the main feature is done playing, immediately following are previews for Fingers, Topless Room Service, The Perfect Pair, and Seymore Butts: In Pursuit of Pleasure. From the main menu, About New Machine holds the company information. From the “hidden” menu there is Love From Ed which is a three minute ramble from Ed Powers. Picture Gallery which holds 12 pictures from various New Machine films that you flip through. Each picture is identified with the star's name and the film it is from. Bonus Clips have short 60 second clips from the following films: Seymour Butts 2, More Dirty Debutantes 2000, Dirty Debutantes 17, Global Warming Debutantes 11, and Real Naturals 3.

Review:
Wild One is a cheap and quickly produced film from Legend being distributed by New Machine.

Something that porn companies should learn is that if they are going to make a plot based adult film, they really need to start with a decent plot or at least a mildly interesting one. After an interesting and promising opening, where a naked woman kept running back and forth behind a door, the plot quickly gave way and became an uninteresting mess.

Another thing for a porn company to consider when making a plot based adult film is to attempt to get attractive actresses that can act, or at bare minimum, attempt to act. Again, when making this film the producers apparently failed to even consider this possibility. The acting is bad, really bad. Even for an adult movie it's bad. The cast is not overly attractive either. Something that might bother some people as well, is that several of the cast members have forgotten to recently trim their pubic hair.

Porn companies should always remember is that sex is the most important part of an adult film. The producers of this film must have figured at this point not to even bother ensuring that the sex was interesting. As a result the tame sex is formulaic and uninspired. The cast doesn't even appear to be having fun, they seem to just be going through the motions. The sex is good for couples worried that their sex life is in a rut, because after watching this they will feel better about their own love life.

When making an adult film, set construction is an important part as a bad set will attract attention to it and away from the sex. In this case it helped though, as it gives you something to laugh at and distract you from the other problems in the film, if only for a few short moments.

When designing your disc, a porn company should always to remember to make any extra features, especially company spam, that aren't Easter eggs easy to find. The disc set up is weird, the main menu comes up with the disc in and has only two options, play movie and About New Machine. Using the Title Button on my remote, I could bring up this menu. There was a second “hidden” menu that I could bring up using the Menu Button on my remote that had all the other extras. I've never seen a disc set up like this before.

Other than being a lesson in how not to make an adult film, Wild One has nothing going for it. Which is a shame, the opening grabbed my interest and I had hope that it would be a fun film to watch. My hope quickly diminished into dismay as I saw the tangled mess that Legend has created here. On the brighter side, the film is very short, so if you do watch it, you won't have wasted too much of your life on this mess.

The Money Shot:
If you are a fan of wasting your money or obtaining shiny objects, then this is the film for you. Those collectors of shiny objects should be really pleased with this disc, since there is no picture on the disc, there are two sides of shiny pleasure for unlimited hours of shiny fun. Unfortunately, it has very little for redeeming qualities. Fans of porn with a plot, nasty sex, couples and porn with no plot will probably find very little in this film to entertain them. If you are still interested in obtaining this film, I recommend renting it first.
