Initial Expectations: Although this one has some nice female talent, New Machine’s DVDs have been so lackluster that I can’t really get much hope up here.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: For the age of the movie, the technical aspects aren’t too bad. Early nineties movies are well known for having some of the worst technical aspects around, this one’s pretty representative. The audio is fairly clear and well balanced, but there are a few minor balance problems.

Music: The music is a little on the loud side and a lot on the cheesy and repetitive side. It hurt the scenes enough that I was considering breaking out the remote before the first scene was even half over.

Menus: The main menu gives a still and a clip of the movie. It’s not that impressive. There is no chapter menu.

The Feature

When Steve Drake finds a vibrator on the beach, he decides to take it home for luck. When he rubs it on his shirt to polish it up a genie pops out and offers him two wishes. Of course he wants a little nookie, but he also wants something special.

Scene 1 - Nicole London and Randy West

Genie Nicole, a light brunette who’s looking mighty fine here, starts things out with magician Randy. He keeps trying to draw her card, but she’s more interested in something else. This scene almost makes it up to average a couple times. Nicole looks to give some great head, but the rest of it looks fairly forced. The editing also hurts it by chopping things up so that it just jumps from sex act to sex act without letting you see anything else.

Scene 2 - Kiss and Steve Drake

Steve Drake gets his first wish for a British maid in the form of blonde bombshell Kiss. He helps her strip out of her uniform and then attacks her great tits. Scene 3 - Sierra and Nicole London

Nicole lets Steve watch as she gets it on with Sierra next. They start with some big time lizard kissing before Sierra lays back for Nicole to eat her pussy. Nicole lays back so Sierra can eat her next before they share a double dildo. Finally, the girls just collapse.

This scene is, in a word, boring. The camera work is stuck on extreme close-up mode, and rarely shows both the action down under and the reaction of the girl getting worked on. The girls are also overly vocal and spout cheesy generic lines that made me wish the remote was a little closer. This scene leaves plenty to be desired.

Scene 4 - Kiss and Tom Chapman

Tom stops by to welcome Kiss to the neighborhood, and makes his move offering to help her with Steve’s jacuzzi. He convinces Kiss that they should test the water, and after stripping down Kiss slides in and starts sucking Tom’s cock as he sits outside the tub. This scene caused me to break out the remote. It dragged horribly and the camera apparently didn’t have a zoom so that the camera man had to just pan back and forth rather than backing up to show everything that was happening. I was so hopelessly bored with this scene before Kiss and Tom started fucking that the only way I could stay awake was to break out the remote.

Scene 5 - Sierra and Steve Drake

Steve decides to start a long term, passionate, mutually satisfying relationship with Sierra with some hot and heavy sex. He gropes her before eating her pussy, and then lays back for her to suck his cock. He lets Sierra bounce on his cock reverse cowgirl style before getting in a bit of missionary work. Finally he pulls out and pops on Sierra’s bush.

This is probably the best scene in the movie. I don’t know if the cameraman called in sick or if somebody taught him how to work the camera, but there’s actually some decent work here. You get to see a bit of Sierra and Steve fucking rather than just a closeup of parts of them as they fuck, and it helps to give the scene a bit of chemistry. Unfortunately, Sierra also goes way overboard with her vocals and flops around like a freshly caught bass to the point that I couldn’t find her too believable. This scene hovers a hair below average.

The Wicked Wish is a wish gone wrong. The setup, with Steve Drake getting a hot genie, is generic as can be and doesn’t offer anything new. If anything, it sees if it can regurgitate the same lines in an even cheesier way than anybody else. Yes, that could be funny done right, but here it isn’t. Here it comes off as cheesy and pathetic. Sadly, the sex comes off much the same way. Most of this is due to whoever was behind the camera not appearing to know how to work the zoom feature. I’d like to say that there’s a hidden gem here or there in The Wicked Wish, but most of it was about as enjoyable as watching paint dry. Even Kiss, who was the main reason I checked this one out, isn’t up to her normal level. The Wicked Wish is aptly named, and not in the good way.

Currently, many of New Machine’s old features can be found online for between about $3 and $25 with several stores offering them for below $10. Aim low here. The movie shows why people make fun of pornos with cheesy acting and boring sex. The technical aspects are also lacking and there’s basically no effort put into the extras.

Note to New Machine: There’s been a lot of times I wished you put out a few more features rather than just the steady stream of compilations you seem to be spewing like pea soup out of a possessed girl. Then I see movies like this and can’t help but have second thoughts.
