Wicked Sex Party 5: Masquerade Ball Review

The Wicked Sex Party series is Wicked Pictures offering in the orgy genre. As befitting the company, production value is high here especially when compared to most other orgy titles.

This the fifth installment in the series is hosted by jessica drake (no capitalizing her name folks!). The perpetuating theme here is that of a masquerade ball. Basically this means that all of the performers are in costume during the majority of the sex. Costumes are on the light side however (masks, necklaces, lingerie, etc.) thereby affording the viewer a complete view of everything they want to see. Viewers won't have trouble identifying who's who.

Although this is an orgy title the camera is usually focused on only one sub-grouping at a time. For instance you might see Voodoo and Nicole Sheridan going at it, then you'll see Evan Stone and jessica drake in action but you'll rarely see all four in the same frame. The close proximity between groups of performers adds heat to the scenes by virtue of the fact that you can hear all the performers at the same time if not see them. The camerawork and editing that bring all of this together couldn't be better.

There is a sense of continuity between the scenes although there is little dialogue and the pairings are different. Wicked Sex Party 5: Masquerade Ball doesn't lose any momentum in its transitions from one scene to the next. The sex moves at a solid pace. None of the performers seem rushed or frenetically bang away. The resulting vibe is that of a controlled frenzy.

Perhaps as important as the sex are the settings in which it takes place. The furniture, rugs, and even the architecture of the building lend an air of eccentricity to the scenes which goes hand in hand with the idea of a masquerade ball and the performers costumes. Wicked Sex Party 5: Masquerade Ball delivers hot sex from beginning to end.

If the idea of pornstars in masks turns you off don't give up on thes title just yet. Midway through scene two there is a "midnight unveiling" where the masks come off and don't return for the remainder of the flick.

There are three separate scenes here which all fit together nicely. As this is a Wicked production condoms are used throughout so if you have a gripe with that then you won't enjoy this title. The sex here is mostly vaginal but there is some brief anal during scene two.

A worthy title in the orgy genre. No hard edges on this one, just a smooth well done product.
