Initial Expectations: Wicked has a good idea here that seems to be working well for them as a series. I have pretty high expectations here.

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is very clear and nicely balanced. Although there’s a ton of action around all the performers, you never have a problem hearing whoever’s on screen at the time. Although the video is well lit with very few shadows, this is probably the worst video quality I’ve seen on a Wicked DVD. Almost the entire DVD is plagued with pixelation that’s a little worst than I’ve seen from some companies that insist on getting around four hours of video on a DVD. This is completely unexpected, and I can only guess that Wicked had this one done somewhere new and rushed it out so quick that they didn’t give it a final proof. If so, I sure hope that this is a one time occurrence and that the new company doesn’t get any more business.

Music: The music has a techno feel that’s balanced very nicely with the rest of the audio. You never have to worry about it covering the moans or most anything else.

Menus: As usual, Wicked has put some very nice care into their menus. The main menu has some nice animation, and the chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a scene number.

The Feature: This time around, the Wicked Sex Party is a pajama party. Twenty three of adult entertainment’s top stars have been gathered together in what looks to be a warehouse that was converted into the largest bedroom outside of the Hillary Clinton’s house when Bill’s left alone. There’s no script, no plot, just lots of hotties gettin’ busy.

The scenes all have the same style. After starting with a nice intro with the performers getting themselves ready and shooting a few photos, things cut directly to the sex. Although the cast changes around a little throughout the movie, all of the sex takes place in the same room on the same giant bed. In each case, there’s plenty of trading back and forth with partners, toy usage, and anal. Chloe easily comes off as the most intense, and takes two dildos in her pussy from Sydnee Steele before adding a vibe to her ass. Surprisingly, it’s the only DP in the entire movie. Sydnee easily comes off as the biggest giver in the entire movie. You see her receive a little, but more often than not she seems to be getting her pleasure through giving rather than receiving. Although most of the action is captured in one screen, sometimes even giving a distance shot to let you see what’s happening all over the place, there are times when its shown in two screens to give you a little better idea of what’s happening. It’s a nicely captured orgy scene, especially with how much is constantly happening around the bed.

I’m a little disappointed with Wicked Sex Party 2, although I have to admit that it’s well done. Brad Armstrong does a very good job of capturing what happening around each orgy, and even does so in a way that you get a feeling of good chemistry between many of the performers. This is rare for an orgy scene, which is my biggest problem with the feature. Although there’s an occasional exception, I don’t really care for orgies. I like to watch the chemistry and mood grow between a smaller group of people, and with orgies you normally get insert peg A into slit B, C, and D, and often peg E decides it can fit in hole D at the same time as peg A. As far as that kind of action goes, Armstrong’s direction is great here, and I’m sure that anybody looking for an orgy that doesn’t want to see how nasty it can get will really love this feature. It’s just not my kind of thing. Wicked Sex Party 2 is very well done, but not for everybody.

Extras: Wicked has put some decent effort into their extras once again. Yes, the usual promotional materials, weblinks, Wicked Casino, company profile, listing of award winners and nomination, and commercial for the Free Speech Coalition are all here. There’s also audio bios for Stephanie Swift, Asia Carrera, Jill Kelly, Sydnee Steele, Chloe, Tabitha Stevens, Dolly Golden, Brittany O’Neil, Sana Fey, Amber Michaels, Brad Armstrong, Mickey G., Jonathan Morgan, Randy Spears, and Evan Stone. Each bio includes a little personal information, a few nice photos, and a link to the star’s scene. Trailers are included for Satyr, Knockout, Flashpoint, Double Feature!, Conquest, Heartache, Indigo Delta, and Katja Kean’s Sports Spectacular. There’s also a ton of photo galleries and a behind the scenes featurette.

Starting off the photo galleries is a three minute plus movie gallery. There’s some good photos here, but many of them look overly grainy, almost like they were blown up from a much larger photo. The behind the scenes gallery lasts about a minute and a quarter, and looks slightly better than the movie gallery. There’s also star galleries for Stephanie Swift, Asia Carrera, Jill Kelly, Sydnee Steele, Chloe, Tabitha Stevens, Dolly Golden, Lauren Montgomery, Brittany O’Neil, Sana Fey, Barett Moore, Kasorn Swan, and Amber Michaels. Most of the star galleries last about a minute and a half, and are once again slightly grainy. It’s too bad, since there’s some nice shots here.

Finally, there’s All Access: The Making of Wicked Sex Party 2, which lasts about thirteen minutes and features Red Ezra behind the camera. It’s a nice behind the scenes featurette that gives a decent feel of both the feel on the set and the people in the movie. Everyone’s very nicely identified so you know who they are, and I think they all give the camera a few words. It’s a nice featurette that’s definitely worth checking out if you enjoyed the feature.

Raincoat Factor: Extreme

Overall: Currently, most of Wicked’s top tier of DVDs can be found online for between $20 and $28 with most stores offering them for around $22. I never thought I’d say this with a Wicked DVD, but rent this one first! If you’re not an orgy fan you might not care for this one, but mostly the entire DVD has some very noticeable pixelation.

Note to Wicked: Outside of the video quality, you did a great job here. I hope this is a one time occurrence with the video!
