Initial Expectations: Chasey’s movies haven’t impressed me too much for many reasons. I’m not expecting too much here.

Initial Reaction: It’s a good start, but poor lighting holds much of it back.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody who wants fairly couples friendly sex without the plot

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants nastier sex

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects show some of the age of the feature. The audio is pretty average, but does have some balance problems. The video lacks much more. There’s some slight grain, frequent remnants, and an overabundance of shadows throughout the feature. With the exception of the remnants, which I assume are due to the age of the feature, almost all of the problems look like they’re from the original filming of the feature.

Music: The music is very nicely balanced with the rest of the audio, and doesn’t even appear in some scenes.

Menus: As usual, David Crawford has put some nice effort into the menus. They’re all nicely animated, with the main menu working in the cover very nicely. The chapter menu is pretty standard, and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a chapter number.

The Feature: Wicked at Heart is one of Wicked’s vignette styled movies. Steve Drake comes home to find Chasey Lain masturbating in bed and waiting for him. He teases her by reading her sexy stories while she holds a large massager close to her.

Chasey Lain goes shoe shopping at Nick East’s store. Nick helps Chasey try on a shoe, and then goes in the back room with her shoe to jack off with it. She lures him back out on the floor where he continues to worship her feet before moving up between her thighs to tongue her. She works him over with her mouth, hands, and feet before stripping down while Nick tongues both of her holes. She rolls around on the furniture for Nick to fuck her missionary and doggie style before getting on top and taking a little control. Chasey gives Nick some great eye contact and dirty talk through it all before collecting Nick’s cock cream in a nearby shoe for him to treasure forever. It’s a great opening scene that should really please Chasey’s fans as well as foot freaks. Chasey’s been hit or miss with me in the past, but this was definitely a very solid hit!

Chasey stumbles upon Steve Hatcher getting head from Mickey Lynn. She starts hiding below his desk and then moves up onto it for him to work her pussy and ass over with his tongue and fingers. Steve splits his time between Mickey’s pussy and ass before giving her an average facial. It’s an okay scene that didn’t do too much for me. Mickey seemed a bit fake here, which I think might have been overcompensating for how bored Steve looked through much of the scene. Mickey takes the anal very well, but there’s nothing really special here.

Sindee Coxx and Jill Kelly oil up Chasey as she lays on a large plastic sheet in the next scene. They rub and grind against each other before moving to fingers and tongues. The oil comes out occasionally in the scene, including Chasey squirting it between her legs onto Jill’s back almost as if she was pissing on her. The whole imagery is very reminiscent of the opening scene in John Stagliano’s Face Dance Part 1, and one of the few times the low lighting in the movie works well. Sadly, the scene ends as if the porno scene timer went off, which is sadly much too common in porn. The girls get into each other okay here, but I sure couldn’t.

Jay Ashley gives P. J. Sparxx an enema to start the next scene. It’s an interesting way to start a scene, and goes from Jay starting to fill her up to P. J. sucking him while he sits on the shitter as he tells her to keep the water in. Jay gives her twat a little tonguing before fucking it from behind and missionary style, and finally pops on her stomach. It’s a pretty hot scene, with P. J. driving the entire scene. Jay comes off as a bit of a jerk, but she drives the entire thing looking like she’s completely into the entire scene.

Finally, Tom Byron and Tera Heart join Chasey Lain in what looks like it might be a small bedroom. Chasey sucks Tom’s cock and occasionally helps Tera, who keeps busy fingering and licking his ass. Chasey gets a little oral attention before Tom fucks each of them, including fucking Tera in the ass. Finally, he deposits his dick droppings between their nicely implanted tits. It’s an okay scene that’s really held back by the lighting. There’s some nice chemistry and decent angles, but it takes so long to get to a well lit portion of the scene that by that time it had all pretty much lost me.

Wicked at Heart has the start to being a great fuck flick. There’s some nice sex scenes, with Mickey Lynn’s anal scene and the lesbian three way easily being the weakest here. The other scenes all have nice chemistry, but are held back from being really hot by some very frequent low lighting. I’m not sure if this is to help create mood or what, but all it did was detract from the movie for me. If this movie was lit better, I could easily have seen giving it another full point sexually, and at the very least one half point (and probably a full point) overall. Although the setup sequences are forgettable here, Chasey does a good enough job leading the sex that you do forget the setups and remember all the sex in the movie instead. Wicked at Heart is a worth rental, but more than that is questionable.

Overall: Currently, Wicked at Heart can be found online for between $15 and $25 with a few stores offering it near the low end. I’d recommend renting this one before shelling out the big bucks. The sex varies, and ends up pretty average due to the low lighting which holds back the entire movie. There’s some extras here, but nothing special.

Note to Wicked: It’s great to see you bringing out some of your older titles and allowing stores to sell them at a lower price.
