Whorecraft VR: Alexlabia's Awakening is an adult take on the Warcraft franchise, which for those of you who have been living under a rock is an immensely popular video game series. Movie versions, whether they are mainstream or adult, of video games are hard to do. One is taking a property that is designed to be played and interacted with and turning it into a movie intended to be watched without interaction. The major trick is that one must retain enough of the feeling of the video game in the movie to please fans of the video game, but also make the movie so that viewers who haven't played the video game will find enough of interest to enjoy the movie as well.

Whorecraft VR: Alexlabia's Awakening is a “campaign” in Celestial Productions' much larger Whorecraft VR (WhorecraftVR.com) world. Whorecraft VR is a live action and CGI combination adult spoof of Blizzard Entertainment's long-running Warcraft video game series that started as a real-time strategy game in 1994 and became an MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game) in 2004 and has become one of the highest-grossing video games. Whorecraft VR, helmed by Stoney Curtis, spent 16 months in development before its release to the public in June of 2018. Whorecraft VR, believed to be the first series of its kind, offers the viewer vignette-style all sex virtual reality cosplay “campaigns” throughout the Whorecraft VR world with live actors and actresses set in a CGI world.

In Whorecraft VR: Alexlabia's Awakening, the red dragon Alexlabia (Tana Lea) has found a love for cock while in her human form. You (Jerry acts as your stand-in for the short film), a mighty warrior, must satisfy her lust. The story for Whorecraft VR: Alexlabia's Awakening is thin. Essentially, the story just serves as a brief set-up for the scene and then doesn't reappear again. While this works for the all sex scene being presented, hopefully Stoney Curtis and Max Acer will start making more complex stories over time, possibly even linking scenes together using the various storylines as one might find in a video game.

Whorecraft VR: Alexlabia's Awakening takes place in the High Temple in the snowy, mountainous northernmost region of Assheroth. Stoney Curtis has done a fantastic job of creating a scene that immerses the viewer in a world that resembles the Warcraft game series. As the short film opens, you travel with Alexlabia in dragon form as she goes across the lands of Whoredaron to the High Temple. Once she arrives at the High Temple, your view switches to that of Jerry for the rest of the short film.

Whorecraft VR: Alexlabia's Awakening marks the second time that the red dragon Alexlabia has appeared in the Whorecraft world; the first time was in Whorecraft VR: Alexlabia's Body. In the first short film, Alexlabia was played by Lauren Phillips; this time around Alexlabia is played by Tana Lea.

Tana Lea does an excellent job as the human form of the red dragon Alexlabia. Anyone who has seen Tana Lea in action before knows she brings her all to the scenes she performs in, and Whorecraft VR: Alexlabia's Awakening isn't an exception. Tana Lea does an amazing job of playing to the camera and the viewer which helps complete the VR immersive illusion. Jerry does a good job filling in for you. He is more active in this scene than he has been in some of the others, which helps the scene a lot.

Technically, Stoney Curtis has done an outstanding job with Whorecraft VR: Alexlabia's Awakening. The blending of the 360° world with the 180° sex is nicely done. There aren't noticeable cut lines for a beautiful looking image. The only issue that Stoney Curtis has is that items disappear when discarded. He should work on having items tossed so they stay on camera since it is a bit jarring when they vanish into thin air. The costuming for the scene is excellent and stays consistent with the costuming for Alexlabia in the Whorecraft VR: Alexlabia's Body scene, which is good.

Stoney Curtis has done an excellent job with Whorecraft VR: Alexlabia's Awakening. He is doing something new and unique and genuinely playing with what can be done within the world of virtual reality while a lot of his competitors are making just standard POV scenes shot in VR. Whorecraft VR: Alexlabia's Awakening is well worth watching.

The quality of the video is excellent. The fusion of the two parts of the material isn't 100 percent perfect; however, it is rather darn close. The CGI looks great, and the live action footage looks flawless as well. The 3D looks excellent and realistic when the appropriate files are viewed through the suitable devices. The fine details in the image are clear and look stunning. The colors are bright and vibrant.

The available audio for Whorecraft VR: Alexlabia's Awakening is an English Stereo track. The audio sounds nice, and the dialog in the short film is clear and easy to understand at all times.

Lethal Hardcore and Adult DVD Empire have included several extras for their release of Whorecraft VR: Alexlabia's Awakening. There is a flat, non-VR, high-definition 720p, anamorphic widescreen 1.78:1 streaming-only version of the scene that runs for 42 minutes.
