Initial Expectations: With the line- up in this feature, it would be next to impossible to not have at least one good scene.

Initial Reaction: It’s a pretty good all girl movie that gives me hope for the rest of the series.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody who likes all girl action with a lot of toys

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants natural all girl action without any props

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is pretty good but does suffer from some common problems. There are a few areas that are a little uneven and it also suffers from some wind noise. The wind noise, although noticeable, appears to be pretty good with how the girls’ hair blows around. The video is also pretty good and suffers from some common problems. There are a few spots where the natural sunlight really bleaches out some of the colors. There’s also some very minor pixelation.

Music: The music comes and goes through the movie, but is nicely done rather than feeling like somebody forgot it. It’s normally very nicely balanced by does get a little loud in a few spots.

Menus: The menus are nicely animated and give the DVD a fairly well done feel from the start. It’s missing any audio, which makes it feel like something’s missing. The chapter menu is listed by chapter number.

The Feature: When the Boyz Are Away the Girlz Will Play 4 continues the all girl series for Jill Kelly Productions. There isn’t any real plot to the feature, but it does have a little structure with short interviews giving a theme to each scene and short strip tease sequences also helping to break the scenes apart.

Catalina, Sharon Wild, Nicole, and Majella start off the first scene playing spin the bottle at an all girl slumber party. They take turns kissing who the bottle decrees before throwing it aside to go beyond what the bottle wants. They pair off and work each other over with their tongues, two of which are pierced, and fingers before breaking out the toys. There isn’t a lot of partner switching or anything like that, and the scene feels more like it ends rather than finishing or coming to an end. There’s pretty good chemistry between the ladies, but the scene still ends up pretty average.

Kristi Love and Tanya Danielle get busy in the next scene in the middle of the desert on a Corvette. Kristi eats out Tanya before giving her a dildo in the twat. Of course, Tanya returns the favor, starting Kristi out with her tongue and fingers before giving pussy a dildo. Tanya also licks Kristi’s brown eye and spanks her ass while fucking her with her dildo. This scene works much better than its predecessor. It still has great chemistry, but it also feels like the scene ended rather than fulfilling a time requirement or running out of film.

Dominica starts out going down on Monica, both of whom stay pretty quiet. Monica returns the favor, causing Dominica to moan quite a bit, the entire time looking up intensely at Dominica. She doesn’t use the bunny to it’s full potential, but it’s still a nice image since Monica stands up as Dominica fucks her. This is a very average scene. Monica has some nice intensity, but Dominica isn’t anywhere close to the quality of her normal performance. It also suffers from the sudden ending, feeling cut off rather than feeling like there’s nothing more to see.

Renee La Rue, Nikita Denise, and Tanya Danielle, get busy around an airplane next. The girls start working over Renee, who from everything I hear is one of the nicest adult stars you could hope to meet, before letting Tanya get in the middle. Tanya gets the full treatment, including some dildo action. Renee helps spread Tanya’s cheeks, while Tanya plays with her, and Nikita fucks Tanya while licking and playing with her ass. Renee finally removes her pants to reveal her strap-on that Nikita sucks while continuing to fuck Tanya with the dildo. It’s a nice way to see the strap on blowjob, as it feels a little more like role- playing and Renee doesn’t act like she can feel every little motion against her rubber cock. The girls team up to work on Renee’s rubber cock, complete with giving it some tit-fucking. It leads up to Nikita finally getting to receive, as Renee takes her form behind. Renee finishes it off with a pretend cumshot on Nikita’s ass that she rubs in. It’s kind of funny, but once again, it fits in a little with the roleplaying theme of the scene.

Finally, Ava Vincent and Claudia Adkins explore each other by a tiger print love seat in the middle of the desert. Ava gets to receive first, and lays back on the love seat for Claudia to work her over with her tongue and fingers before breaking out a large purple dildo to work Ava’s pretty pussy over with. Although When the Boyz are Away the Girlz Will Play 4 does pretty well. There isn’t a plot to any of the scenes, but instead they’re seperated by interviews and strip teases. The teases are all done by Tanya Danielle, whose body the camera captures very well, and take place at night in the desert around a campfire. They’re very well shot and use the lighting very well. The interviews, which are done by Ava Vincent, serve to set up each scene. Unfortunately, the girl being interviewed isn’t ever in the scene she’s setting up, which makes things a little weird. There’s quite a range to the quality of the sex scenes, although the worst of them is only average. Two of them are really good, such as the second scene with Kristi Love and Tanya Danielle and the fourth scene with Renee La Rue, Nikita Denise, and once again, Tanya Danielle. Some of the other scenes don’t feel like there’s an actual ending and feel very cut off. It’s a common problem with all girl movies that this one sometimes dodges and sometimes gets hit with. It’s still worth checking out, however, since all of the scenes look very nice and most have very good chemistry.

Extras: The photo gallery lasts slightly over one minute with about five seconds per photo. The photos all look very good and nicely mix snapshots and full screen photos. There’s also a photo gallery that lasts over three and a half minutes from When the Boyz are Away The Girlz Will Play 3. Although this had me scratching my head at first, it’s a nice way to give the viewer a taste of another movie without going through the effort of making a trailer.

There’s also a five minute behind the scenes featurette that’s hosted by Skye Blue. They start out with the scene between Renee LaRue, Nikita Denise, and Tanya Danielle. There’s a short interview with Nikita Denise and Tanya Danielle, as well as Julian showing up for a bit. They show a little of the photo gallery being shot, as well as the girls getting busy with each other. They show a little bit of one other scene, that’s plagued by quite a bit of wind noise. It’s a nice little behind the scenes, but I really with it would have covered more of the movie.

Overall: Currently, When the Boyz Are Away, The Girlz Will Play 4 can be found online for between $15 and $25 with many stores offering it for under $20. If you’re a fan of all girl action, it’s definitely worth checking out at the low end. It’s not a perfect feature, but it’s still good enough to take the time to check out. The scenes all look very nice, although some feel very cut off. The technical aspects are very good, although there are some wind noise problems and a few shadows that interfere. The extras are nice, including a short behind the scenes featurette.

Note to Jill Kelly Productions: The behind the scenes feature was great, but in the future, please expand them to cover the entire feature. A few more chapters would also be very good. As done here, when each scene ends, so does the chapter. It would have been much nicer if each tease, interview, and scene had their own chapter rather than throwing the three into one chapter.
