Initial Expectations: I’ve liked most of what I’ve seen from Reno and his studios, so I’m going into this one with pretty high expectations.

Initial Reaction: It’s okay, but nothing special.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody looking for some decent stroke material with an anal emphasis

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting something that seems really unique

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are nicely done. The audio is okay. It’s nicely balanced and fairly clear, but here are a few very minor hollow spots, scratchy areas, and background noises that do interfere. The video is much the same. There’s barely any grain and it’s normally nicely lit. There are a few flickers in the lighting, but that’s about the only complaint I can have with the video.

Music: There’s a little music, but it rests quietly in the background.

Menus: The main menu is okay. It combines a clip from the movie with the cover from the DVD. There’s nothing bad about it, but it just seems a little generic. The chapter menu shows much more care, and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and the names of the lovely ladies in each scene.

The Feature

Wet Dreamz works with a simple idea, sexy dreams. In almost every scene a girl tells one of her friends, often the lovely Michelle Lay, about a sexy dream they’ve recently had or somebody has a daydream involving sex. They don’t take up too much time with the setup, and quickly get on with the action.

Scene 1 - Aria, Michelle Lay, and Lee Stone

Aria’s Story starts out with Aria telling Michelle about her relationship problems. Michelle thinks Aria should join her and her trainer Lee for a workout, and after watching them a bit she dozes off and dreams of taking Lee on for a different kind of workout. Things start with Lee tonguing Aria’s twat and Michelle getting in there to work on Aria from behind. Aria lets Lee fuck her both from behind and missionary style, and he apparently knows just what she likes since he gets Aria to let go with a couple good squirts. She moves on to let Lee fuck her ass reverse cowgirl style while she fills up her twat with four fingers. Aria also lets Lee fuck her ass missionary style while Michelle watches and briefly rides Aria’s face. Finally, Aria takes a nice facial from Lee to finish things up before she wakes up again.

This is a pretty hot scene. Aria and Lee have great chemistry together, and there’s no shortage of energy. You can tell that Lee knows just how to push all of Aria’s buttons, and I don’t think there’s much doubt over whether or not Aria can really squirt. The only problem in the scene is Michelle. I like what I see of Michelle in front of the camera, as she normally brings a very fun feeling with her, but here she seems out of place. She’s in the scene just enough that you can’t forget about her and focus on Aria and Lee, but not so much that she’s a full part of the scene. This is a good scene, but if Michelle would have made up her mind as to whether or not she was going to be in it I think the scene would have been much better.

Scene 2 - Cailey Taylor, Dick Tracy, and T. J. Cox

Heavily implanted California blonde Cailey starts out her story telling Michelle about the dream she’s been having about the guys she sees a the gym. This is an okay scene. Cailey does a very nice job of taking on both guys, but the camera work seems a bit too focused. It’s so tight on Cailey that I rarely knew who was fucking her, and without seeing the other person I have a hard time getting much of an idea of the chemistry. Perhaps my biggest problem with the scene is Cailey’s looks. She looks like she’s a very sweet person, but California blondes complete with the required silicone don’t really do anything for me.

Scene 3 - Michelle Lay and Tyler Wood

Michelle tries a little role reversal in Pizza Slut Delivers for the third scene. After watching her get it on in a porn movie while waiting for his pizza to arrive, Tyler fantasizes about Michelle bringing him his pepperoni pizza and checking on his sausage. This is a pretty good scene. As usual, Michelle puts some nice enthusiasm into her performance, and she and Tyler have pretty good chemistry as well. It moves along nicely, but the camera work seems pretty average. It’s a decent scene, but nothing overly special.

Scene 4 - Sharon Wild and Jack Lawrence

Sharon gets a visit from the Panty Police in the penultimate scene. She calls the cops after finding her house was broken into and shows him the bedroom where her panties are laying all over. This is a pretty good scene. Sharon really gets into the scene nicely, but she also mugs the camera a bit. She seems to get into Jack very well, but at the same time it’s kinda hard to get too much of a feeling of chemistry as the camera seems afraid to show Jack during the action. They both appear to put some nice energy in the scene, and it manages to work its way above average despite the lopsided camera work.

Scene 5 - Jayna Oso, Lucy Lee, and Benjamin Brat

Things finish up with Jayna Loves Lucy. As the girls talk inside about starting their own sorority, Benjamin peeps on them through the window and spanks it. The girls kiss before the girls strip out of their pajamas and Lucy works her pierced tongue from Jayna’s tits down to her clit. This is a good scene, and possibly the best in the movie. The girls have nice chemistry with each other, and the time each of them spends with Benjamin is nicely split. The scene moves along nicely and the camera does a little better job of working between close-ups and shots that actually let you see something. This is a pretty good way to finish up the movie.

I’m sure Wet Dreamz will work for many people, but it didn’t get too much past the average level for me. The main reason for this was the camera work. It’s normally extremely tight on the women, and I have a hard time getting a feeling for the chemistry in the scene until I see both performers. That was a fairly rare occurrence here, as the camera seemed drawn towards the penetration much more than in many other pornos. That said, Wet Dreamz does do some things right. The setups are normally fun and the girls do put on a nice show. There’s a decent variety of scenes, although it does feel a bit odd having Michelle Lay being the only girl who doesn’t take it in the ass in the movie. Wet Dreamz is a decent piece of smut, but nothing worth running out and refinancing your house to get the money to see.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery lasts about three minutes and gives you about five seconds per nice looking snapshot or full screen photo. There’s also a behind the scenes featurette, talent interviews, and web site information.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts nearly forty five minutes. You get a little from the people in each scene, and plenty of Michelle Lay. As usual, Michelle comes off as a true jack-of-all-trades (as well as a jack-off-all-trades). There isn’t a lot of the individual scenes being shot, but there is plenty of the fun between scenes. There’s plenty of laughs, and the set came off as one of the most fun sets I’ve seen in a behind the scenes featurette. Make sure to check out this featurette as it gives a better feel for many of the personalities of the performers than most features as well as being a lot of fun.

Interviews are included with each of the ladies in the movie. Michelle talks about doing her first boy - girl condom free scene, getting her tonsils out, and getting a nose job. Aria’s next, and talks about fucking Lee Stone and her website. Sharon Wild talks about how to spell her name, her free website, her scene, and what she’ll do sexually. Cailey Taylor talks about her website and getting wild on it. Lucy Lee talks about getting in the business, and her first scene. Finally, Jayna Oso has a smoke and talks about her scene. It’s a nice little selection of interviews, and does a nice job of showing the personality of the girls and letting you know a little about them.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, Insanity Pictures DVDs can be found online for between $15 and $25 with stores offering them everywhere in between. Rent this one first. There’s nothing really bad about the movie, but there isn’t anything that really jumped out at me about it. The DVD does show some nice care towards the technical aspects, and as usual Insanity has put some good effort towards their extras.
