The Abridged Version: Wet Between the Thighs 3 (2004) isn’t your father’s smut. It’s more like your older brother’s smut. Well, actually that may not quite line up right but that was my impression of this video. Young girls with all natural bodies run today’s industry and cheesy sets or vignettes have given way to well lit interview ‘em/fuck ‘em’s set mostly in rather nice mansions. Here, we have a cast evenly split between new girls and veterans. The new girls are all natural while two of the veterans have rather unfortunate implants. And each scene appears to be filmed in some studio somewhere, with sets doubling for bedrooms or whatever the hell else they’re supposed to be. In some way, this is refreshing. Over exposure to Red Light District, Devils Film, Zero Tolerance, and Platinum X have made this viewer weary of the new crop of talent, prompting search through the past for missed gems like Alyssa Love, Holli Woods, Tye, Avalon, or Stephanie Swift. And as I am getting old Stephanie Swift scenes, circa 1997 or 1998, I am being reminded of what porn used to look like. However, viewing this 2004 production alerts me to the fact that some porn has not changed. To my dismay, this wasn’t as refreshing as I thought. Instead, it is wholly mediocre, if even that.

Scene 1: Monica Mayhem (cover girl, implants) w/blonde guy (19 minutes)

Monica graces the front cover and probably appropriately so. She is blonde, foreign, slutty, and appears to have great breasts. In that sense, she is the quintessential porn star. However, after her 5 or 10 second interview a guy comes in and quickly strips her of her rather hot black-red bra and panty set and goes to town on her pussy. There is nothing really lacking with her energy, but the silicone chest definitely distracted me. If she did not have implants, I probably would think was really hot. Instead, she looks like a porn star from a different era. Yet again, to be fair she is a solid slut and the sex her is spirited. She gets it in cowgirl, missionary, doggy, and spoon. In the end, she gives nice eye contact as her guy she was paid to fuck shoots out an overage load that ends up evenly spread between her chin and collarbone. This was an utterly forgettable scene for me though.

Scene 2: Katin (dirty hot brunette w/slight blonde highlights, bearing a resemblance to Lisa Marie Pressley, great natural C-cuppers w/somewhat unfortunate tattoos circumnavigating her stomach and back) w/John West (19 minutes)

Scene 5: Chennin Blanc (older, blonde, was once somewhat of an anal queen, possibly implants) w/Cheyne Collins (19 minutes)

Chennin and Cheyne are married and have been for a while. I don’t know if they have ever made each other their exclusive on-screen partner but it is possible. What I do know is that their love for each other is apparent here, masked in the form of base lust. In fact, I have seen them together in scenes before and it was apparent in all of those too. However, I saw those 2 or 3 years ago. This is my first time seeing her since then and I hate to say it but she does not look as good as she once did. However, her outright slutty nature has not changed one bit. There is a longtime reviewer who has developed a reputation for being downright mean with his words about girls. He saw it as being honest. Others, including myself, viewed it as being malicious. So, when I started writing reviews of adult films I vowed never to be like that guy and to never become so disenchanted with porn that I subconsciously hate all of the girls. However, with this girl Brittney Madison I simply cannot sugar coat it. To me, she is dog ugly, like an actual female version of Devine. Following the rule of ugly girls though, she is an extremely nasty slut. She has done anal galore, even some double anal. That has become her appeal. Those unfamiliar with her though will be most struck by her amazingly natural 40 DD breasts, though lingering scars from a reduction (!) make them look bizarre. However, she is not surprisingly some kind of bizarre barby with a thin waist but huge breasts. That’s my way of saying that she could definitely stand to lose some weight. She gives her guy, who cares not for my view of her and is instead seemingly genuinely turned on by her and her chest, a blowjob and then they fuck in 3 positions before a mediocre facial.

Bonus: There is an interesting 3-minute behind the scenes section immediately after Brittney’s scene. Here, it becomes much more apparent that Gina was genuinely into her scene.

The Verdict:In a 6-scene tape, 4 of them suck. What is alarming about this is that veterans deliver the 2 good ones: Gina Ryder and Chennin Blanc. Monica, Katin, Princess, and Brittney’s scenes, despite brief highlights or cosmetic appeal of the performer, re-define mediocrity. It is no surprise that Gina and Chennin have had such long careers, and as I stated earlier Gina barely looks any older. This is yet another production from Cherry Boxxx that shows them to be quickly developing into an assembly line machine. They produce so much product as well as edit together so many compilations that in their short time of existence, or at least of existence under the name of Cherrry Boxxx, they have built a huge library and flooded the market. Surely, they are making a lot of money. Don’t be a contributor to that though. This is not worth your time. Pornography’s history is filled with companies that briefly existed and produced product at a quick and high rate before closing business or exclusively becoming a compilation company. Unless Cherry Boxxx ups the quality of their product, I foresee them being one such company. Of course, this all coming from someone who chronologically belongs to the, harkening back to my introduction, "little brother" category. If you are in the "older brother" age frame then you might like this.

Rent it or Buy It: Neither, unless you are a Gina Ryder fan.

The DVD: The transfer is fine and the technical qualities adequate. The extras are solely lacking though, with a slide show being the only supplementary material relevant to this title. The other extras are company info, website, enlarge your penis, and trailers. They’re all the type of crap you would simply fast-forward through at the beginning of a VHS.
