NOTE: This is an amateur video. Amateur and homemade movies don’t have the budget nor the resources of studio porn, and therefore rarely get close to the same quality technically. I’m rating this DVD on the same scale, but most homemade or amateur features would rarely make it above a 3 on the standard scale I use for studio porn for their technical aspects. The performers also aren’t normally the ‘glamour stars’ one expects from studio porn, and instead use people who look like somebody you might encounter in your day to day life. Finally, the camera work has a different feel, as it’s often shot from a tripod or with somebody who doesn’t have the technical training or experience of professional cameramen. That said, amateur and homemade features have a great charm to them, simple because the people in them are doing what they’re doing to have fun and because they enjoy it. All the things that separate them from studio porn contribute to that charm, I hope people will keep that in mind when checking out this review and not just look at the ratings as the ultimate word on this release. Since the technical aspects are normally lacking and there normally isn’t much for extras in amateur features, I’ve weighted my overall rating more heavily towards the sex than I do in most studio porn.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: Amateur movies aren’t known for their technical aspects. Okay, they are, but not quite in the good way. You wouldn’t know that from Just a Little Naughty. The audio has a little hiss near the start, but other than that is nicely balanced and free of background noises. The video is also very nicely done. There’s a few quick zooms and pans, but only a very minor amount of grain. It’s also nicely lit. The biggest problem with the video is that there’s at least two cameras used and sometimes one of the cameras gets in the field of view slightly. This DVD looks and sounds better than many DVDs I’ve seen from the bigger adult studios. I normally tweak the scale for rating technical aspects on amateur movies, but this one’s good enough to be held against the big boys.

Disc Complaints: There’s no time stamp, which always irks me a little. From what I understand it doesn’t take much to add a time stamp to a DVD and it gives the viewer the ability to jump to any point in the DVD with their remote. I know that weplay2gether is a small amateur studio, so hopefully this will change in the future.

Menus: The main menu has a little animation but is mostly simple. It has a nice look, and sets a decent first impression. There isn’t a chapter menu.

The Feature

On their way to Miami, Staci and Ira meet Allie and Jake. They head for a hotel and decide to have some fun. What else do you need for a setup?

Scene 1 - Staci, Allie, Jake, and Ira

Staci, a nice looking brunette with realistic big tits, Allie, a cute blonde with blown up tits, and Jake start out naked on a bed, with the girls quickly going after Jake’s cock. He starts out standing in front of them before the girls let him lay back so they can work on him easier. Just a Little Naughty is a very nice amateur movie. The camera work is nicely done and there’s all the chemistry you can hope for between the two couples (who are also two of the best looking couples I’ve seen in amateur porn). The chemistry is what really makes this, and it’s overflowing here. Right from the start you can tell that everybody’s just there to have a lot of fun, and it’s made even better by everybody appearing to have a little skill behind the camera. Yes, there’s a few pans and zooms that go a little too fast, but that’s the biggest complaint I can have about the video. They also keep the camera work a little more professional than many other amateur films by having very little banter between whoever’s behind the camera and everybody else. The two camera (I think) are edited together nicely, and keep things moving nicely. There’s some obvious breaks, but that’s to be expected with this type of movie. In the end, the only complaint I can really have about this release is that it lasts just under forty minutes. I know that amateur movies are frequently a little shorter, but this seems just a little too short. Even with that said, weplay2gether’s Just a Little Naughty is a nicely done amateur movie that’s definitely worth checking out.

Trailers are included for In the Beginning and When Worlds Collide. The photo gallery lasts about five minutes with roughly ten seconds per okay framed photo.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, WePlay2Gether’s DVDs can be found online for $25. If you’re a fan of amateur movies, this one’s probably worth it (although I’m a tight bastard that it seems a little high for 40 minutes of sex). There’s a little effort put into the extras, but the technical aspects are very nicely done. This is a nice amateur DVD.

Note to weplay2gether: You have a very nice start here and are showing yourself to be a studio worth paying attention to. I hope you can bring DVDs out regularly and that you give them a little more polish. A few chapter breaks and a time stamp would have brought this DVD up to compete with most of the bigger adult studios. A bonus clip from some of the streaming video you have on your website would be great.
