Initial Expectations: I’ve heard that Pat Myne is making some great movies lately. The one movie I’ve seen from him really disappointed me, so I’m hoping to see the turnaround here. With the cast he’s assembled he should sure be able to do it!

Initial Reaction: I know see why Metro signed Pat Myne as a director!

Who Should Watch It : Anybody wanting hot gonzo sex and who likes directors such as Jules Jordan.

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting plain and boring gonzo action

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The audio varies a bit throughout the feature. Although some of it is nicely balanced, there’s a fair amount that’s a little muffled or hard to hear. The video has a soft feel that surprises me. It looks much like what many companies do for romantic features, and although I wanted to hate it, I just couldn’t. It does help the feature look better, and was never so soft that I felt like I was being held back from seeing things.

Music: There’s a bit of hard rock music during the background of the lead-in for each scene. Although I like the idea of using a different type of music and it feels the attitude of some of the girls, it really didn’t work well for me. It’s just loud enough to interfere with the interviews and is just quiet enough that it you can’t normally hear it that well.

False Advertising: The cover states that there’s a behind the scenes feature on the DVD, but I couldn’t find one anywhere. I deducted a half point from the overall score because of this.

Menus: The menus are pretty standard. The main menu includes a small clip from the feature while the chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a chapter number.

The Feature

Pat Myne is back and looking for easy women. After the other Pat Myne movie I watched, Warning: I Fuck On the First Date! is a great surprise. The scene have great energy, great chemistry, and a sense of fun that’s missing from way too many movies. Perhaps the most surprising thing is that every scene is a winner and has great camera work and editing. The editing is well balanced and I was reminded of Jules Jordan with the camera work many times through the feature. If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, Jules should be very flattered here. It’s easy to see why Metro decided to take this one out of it’s Amazing lineup and stick it in the FusXion line. Warning: I Fuck On the First Date is darn hot and a title I can’t help but highly recommend!

The Extra Stuff

If you’re at all interested in this one, don’t worry about the price tag, just pick it up. The sex is extremely hot and well done. Unfortunately, the technical aspects don’t make it too far above average and there isn’t really anything special for extras.

Note to Metro / FusXion: Please work on your technical aspects and extras. If they would have kept up to the sex here this would have easily been a five star DVD.
